It was 4 in the afternoon when the sun was high in the sky, bathing the pool area in a warm, golden light. Rosé gracefully sliced through the water, her slender body moving with an effortless ease.

After a few minutes, Jimin walked into the pool area, the sun reflecting off his skin. His eyes spotted Rosé swimming laps in the pool and he made his way over to her.

Standing on the edge of the pool, he looked at her with a small smile on his face.

Rosé finished her lap, rising to the surface and wiped the water from her face, her eyes flickering up to see Jimin standing there. They had a complicated relationship, to say the least.

"What do you want?" she asked, not making eye contact.

She remained in the water, her hands resting on the edge of the pool.

Jimin's smile faded slightly. He knew that she wasn't happy to see him. "I just came to say hi," he said casually. "Can't I do that?"

Rosé rolled her eyes, wiping the water from her eyebrows with her index. "BTS and doing things without a reason? I can't digest that."

Chuckling at her sarcasm, he sat on the edge of the pool, sweat beads on the palm of forehead, "Believe or not, I do things without a reason sometimes."

Without saying anything, she continued to float on the surface of the water, her slender arms occasionally stirring to keep herself afloat.

"So, you really came here just to say hi?" She finally said, rising up to the surface again.

"No lies," Jimin replied, holding up his hands in mock surrender.

Rosé chuckled dryly looking at her right for a second before she looked at him, her lips wet with the water. "Ah, I forgot. You're the angel among BTS. Well, then, dear angel, maybe you can start by telling me your real name?"

A small chuckle escaped Jimin's lips as he shook his head. He extended a hand and slowly pushed a wet strand of hair behind her ear, her eyes widening for a moment. "Jimin. Park Jimin."

Her lips parted and her eyes largened once again and she looked up at him who stood up with a smile on his face that was intimidating to her now.

"I'll go now, Miss Rosé." He turned around walking away, before giving her a smile.

Seeing him go away, something churned up in her stomach as she shouted back with anticipating eyes, "Park Chaeyoung."

Jimin froze in his tracks, his body going rigid at the sound. He slowly turned around to find her looking at him with a combination of surprise and satisfaction.

He took a few steps back towards the pool, his expression unreadable.

"Chaeyoung?" he repeated, the syllables rolling off his tongue as if he was savoring the taste.

He took a step closer to the edge of the pool, leaning down slightly so they were at eye level with each other. "Why did you tell me your real name?"

She quickly averted her eyes to the side, her gaze shifting away from his intense stare. "I-it's only fair, right?" she said, stumbling over her words. "You shared your name, so I shared mine."

Jimin studied her face closely, noticing the way her cheeks flushed slightly. He knew that there was more to her attitude than she was letting on. But he didn't press the issue further. Instead, he offered her a small smile.

"Fair enough," he said softly, his eyes still fixed on her. "Then it's nice to meet you, Miss Park Chaeyoung."

Her heart skipped a beat as he said her name, the sound of it coming from his lips being completely new to her. She tried to mask her reaction by looking away again, her fingers tracing patterns in the water.

Jimin smirked at her reaction. He knew that he had an effect on her, and he couldn't deny that it amused him. But something made him take a step back, putting some distance between them.

"Well, I should go," he took a final glance at her. "Nice meeting you, Miss Chaeyoung." With that, he turned and walked away, his hands in his pockets.

At the head of the long conference table in an elegant meeting room sat a person with a calculated smirk on his face.

"We distracted the two biggest rulers of the underworld, boss," one of the members, Suho spoke up.

The person at the head of the table chuckled, his fingers drumming on the table lazily. "It was a good plan," he said.

He leaned back in his chair, his gaze sweeping over the other members. "But I have an even better idea."

The room fell silent as all eyes turned to him sitting at the head of the table.

"We'll split into teams and infiltrate their bases," he stated, his smirk growing wider. "We'll gather intel, cause chaos, and make it harder for them to function."

With that, he stood up from his seat, a dark smirk playing on his lips. He turned away from the group and leaned against the large glass window.

In a low, almost imperceptible whisper, he murmured to himself, "I'm coming for you, babes. Gonna scratch those old wounds wide open again."
