Lisa's P. O. V.
"Sit down Lili," Jennie unnie interjected making me look at her which was more like a glare from me as she shook her head in a 'no' I suppose.
"Bastards," I grumbled under my breath, rolling my eyes and sitting back on my stool with my leg on top of the other.
My gaze fell on Rosé whose breath was caught in her throat as those cunts entered the room. I felt my anger and the desire for revenge rise within me as memories of our kidnapping flashed through my mind.
Jennie unnie on the other hand was calm as fuck. Are you for real? Well, I am sure she must be burning inside from the fire they put by hurting us. The thought of it made my anger flare up even more.
I clenched my jaw, trying to keep my own anger in check. But it was hard, seeing those bastards walk in like they owned the place. And unnie, she was just sitting there, looking like she was sipping tea in her garden or something.
It was infuriating. How could she be so composed? Didn't she want to rip those guys apart as much as I did? I shot her a sidelong glance, still trying to figure her out.
Putting my eyes back to the drama happening at the entrance of the venue I watched them moving over-confidently, their steps screaming pure arrogance.
They scanned the room, their eyes taking in everything around them like they owned the place. They walked with a swagger that made my blood boil, and I could practically feel my hands choking each and every one of them.
Jungkook's P. O. V.
We walked into the hall room, the eyes of the people around us immediately falling on us - a feeling I was used to being a member of BTS. I noticed some unknown faces and the fear in their eyes.
They should be scared like that.
We sauntered across the room, scanning the faces of the people there. Some of them looked intimidated, some scared, some even nervous. It was a sight that we were used to. After all, we were BTS, we were powerful, we were feared.
We had the world at our fingertips, and everyone knew it. I caught the eye of a girl in the crowd, and a smirk tugged at the corners of my mouth as she quickly looked away, her cheeks flushing slightly.
Yeah, we have that effect on people.
"Looks like we're the center of attention as usual," I said, my voice low and cocky.
"That's because we're BTS," Namjoon hyung replied with a smirk. "Everyone wants a piece of us."
"That, or they're just intimidated by our good looks," I heard Jin hyung bragging about his looks and I could imagine the smirk and pride on his face as I kept glancing around with a small smirk.
"Probably a mix of both," Hoseok hyung chimed in, a grin on his face.
I looked at Taehyung who was silently listening to us or maybe not even listening and being in his own little bubble. He had a cool and calm expression on his face.
The others also looked at him, sensing his reserved attitude. We were used to his silences, his tendency to keep to himself. There was always something about him that made him seem distant, like he had his own secrets that he was holding onto.
But we knew better than to push him to talk when he didn't want to.
"Whatever the case, we're the hottest group around," suddenly Jimin spoke, running a hand through his hair.
"Ain't we being so full of ourselves?" Hoseok hyung muttered.
"That's just because we have reason to be," Jimin said with a shrug.
Soon we made our way through the crowded party, spotting Jackson standing by the bar, surrounded by a group of admirers.
He greeted us with a relaxed smile, his glass of champagne held nonchalantly in his hand. "All my thanks to you all for getting some time for me," he said cheerfully.
"Where's the lucky lady?" Namjoon hyung sneered, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Shouldn't she be here by your side, fawning over her soon-to-be husband?"
Jackson chuckled, batting his eyes, "Oh, she's around here somewhere." He took a sip of his drink, his eyes scanning the crowd. "You know how these events are. It's all about mingling and socializing."
I watched Jimin smirk, crossing his arms. "So, when's the ring ceremony then? You're not getting cold feet and bailing on her, are you?"
Jackson just laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're hilarious, you know that?" He took a step closer to Jimin, his tone dropping to a quieter octave. "The ring ceremony is in about an hour or so. Don't worry, she'll be here soon enough."
"Can't wait to meet her then," Jimin said sarcastically. "I'm sure she's just as amazing as you are."
Jackson rolled his eyes playfully, clearly picking up on the sarcasm in his tone. "Oh, trust me, she is," he replied with a smirk. "You'll see for yourselves soon enough."
"Looking forward to it," Jimin muttered under his breath. .
Once again, Jackson resumed his casual conversation with his admirers as we looked at each other arching her brows and lightly shrugging.
