Riley and Daniel made it to Max's jet before him. They were sitting inside waiting for him patiently, some more excited to see him than others. Heidi wasn't with them, she was flying back home instead of Monaco. Riley was exhausted, it was midday and she was half asleep on the plane. Daniel was sitting somewhere else, knocked out entirely.
Riley was on her phone, curled up under a blanket she brought with her knees close to her chest. Riley scrolled on her phone for the meantime, becoming relieved when no one got photos of her the night prior at all. Her and Max were in the clear. Riley lifted her head from her seat when she heard Max's voice. She held a tired smile when he walked onto the jet and over to her.
"Latte" Max said, handing her a hot take out cup. "Cream and sugar, the way you like it"
"Thank you" She said quietly, tilting her head up slightly for a kiss that he gave her. Max took the seat next to her, putting an arm over her legs and holding her knee.
"Did you get to the hotel alright?" He asked her, feeling her eyes on him while he was checking his phone.
"Yeah" She nodded, she glanced over at his phone to see what he was doing. Riley didn't really know why she did this, he was checking his schedule. "What are you doing"
"We have a 13 hour flight" Max started, "And then we're completely a secret, I'm seeing what days I'm free so we can see each other"
"We don't have to put days on the calendar" Riley laughed. She was trying not to talk too loudly and wake Daniel up. "We can text"
Max looked at Riley, and she could tell that wasn't something he'd want to do. "Riley when are you free this week"
"I have to do an outing tomorrow," She told him, "And then just the historic Gp and Pascale's birthday dinner"
"So your entire weekend is full"
"I only have to be at Jimmy'z for 2 hours" Riley told him, "We could have a late dinner after that?"
"I have a meeting with Red Bull and then going to Jimmy'z" He shook his head.
"I'm free Wednesday and Thursday" She told Max, Riley wanted to figure something out fast. She didn't want Max to get annoyed and leave her. She was scared.
"You're actually not free Wednesday" He broke the news to her, "Charles is having a party or something at his house so I'm assuming you have to go"
"I wasn't notified of that" Riley sighed, "Will you be there"
"I will" He nodded.
"So I'll see you there and Thursday" Riley said, putting a hand on his arm that was resting on her.
"I'm with Daniel on Thursday"
"Okay then so am I" Riley said, looking over her seat to glare at Daniel sleeping. "We have to figure something out"
"What about the Monday and Tuesday before Imola?" Max asked.
"I have a big recital on Tuesday," Riley told him, "But maybe you can come over when I'm practicing on Monday?"
"Will Daniel be home?"
"Probably" She sighed. Riley put her coffee down in a cup holder besides her when she looked away from Max. "Okay wait, I have to pick up a car on Thursday"
Riley didn't have a need for a car the past 5 months of her life. Arthur drove her everywhere, and when he didn't he would just let Riley take the Ferrari. She was quick to make the purchase after they broke up. Riley considered it a treat for herself with everything that's happened.
