Riley was in shambles the next full day back home, unpacking things with Jade. It all started because Max hadn't answered her phone call, she was trying to figure out where to put all of his trophies and helmets. It was 1pm her time, and promptly 5 in the morning Max's, he was dead asleep and didn't hear the phone ringing next to him. Jade was standing in the bathroom with her while Riley was applying her belly oil. She was trying to comfort Riley, but they both knew it was the hormones and Riley being extra emotional.

But on top of that all she kept seeing videos and photos of her and Ava leaving the restaurant. She had been trying to keep Ava from the internet whenever they were together the past year and now, her face was plastered everywhere.

"I feel stupid for crying" Riley said, rubbing the oil over her stomach, "It's not something to cry about"

"Oh- no Riley you're fine" Jade said, "Just breathe"

"I know" She frowned, sucking in a breath through her nose. "It's only been a day" She emphasized. "And I already miss him so much"

"So now just imagine meeting him in Charleston" Jade told her, watching Riley with a frown through the mirror. "You guys get to have the ultrasound"

"That only makes me want to see him more-" She cut herself off with a sob, feeling her chest rise and fall quickly.

"Riley" Jade smiled, holding in her laugh when she was only trying to comfort her.

"Sorry" Riley took another deep breath and looked at her belly. "Why is it so big already"

"I don't think it's big" Jade said, leaning against the counter top. "It's still small"

"For 8 weeks this is big" Riley whispered, facing Jade but keeping her eyes on the mirror, trying to look at the side of her stomach. "My mom always showed early though, it's probably just genetics" She started mumbling, "That's means I'm going to be huge"

"That's not a bad thing" Jade said before Riley started crying again. "You are growing a entire human in your body"

"I'm just scared Max isn't going to be attracted to me after this"

"He will" Jade reassured her, "And if not, divorce, kick him out and we'll raise the baby together"

"That doesn't sound like a bad back up plan" Riley chuckled.

"What are you hoping for?"

"Huh?" Riley was pulled from her thoughts, "Oh, I'm not sure because I'd be happy with either" Riley told Jade, "I'd love a boy but the thought of him racing terrifies me, but I know that's a possibility with a girl too"

"Well," Jade mumbled, "Their dad is one of the best racers of this generation"

"I'm really ready to know though" Riley said, "I'm getting a blood test in Charleston, so we'll find out maybe a week after"

"You have to tell me when you guys find out"

"Oh!" Riley said, moving to wash the oil off her hands. "Me and Max actually wanted to put your information down to get the results." She started to explain, "We wanted to have an intimate reveal between the two of us, so we were hoping-"

"Yes." Jade said, "Don't say anything else. I'll handle it" She grew excited, "What do you guys want? A cake? Pastries?"

"I want a cake"

"Perfect! I know a great bakery in Paris, I'll make a trip up"

"Me and Max will give you money for the train and everything" Riley told her, "The cake, any expenses we'll handle it"
