Max drug Riley out of bed the next morning. It led to a miniature argument when she was still half asleep after returning from her late night snack run with Bella. But today was the last day Max and Riley had together before they went their separate ways. Max assumed he would be seeing her again in Brazil, but there was no telling. He just wanted them to have a moment alone before his flight to Mexico took off that night, and after, Riley was right back to Monaco.

Max pulling into the parking lot of a small bakery downtown, taking Riley out for a quiet breakfast. He didn't tell Gustav about this, he wanted to have a sense of normalcy surrounding this. Besides, Max wasn't going to let anything happen.

"Are you hungry?" Max asked her, shutting off the car.

"Am I hungry?" She looked at him, "Babe I'm never not hungry at this point" She held her stomach which was dressed in denim. "What are we getting"

Riley got out of the car excitedly at the same time as Max. She stood there with the early morning breeze and a smile on her face, she brushed her hand along her stomach, reassuring herself that no one could notice. No one but Max at least.

"I read online they have donuts, cupcakes, muffins, practically everything" He told her, walking beside her as he double checked the lock on the car. "So you'll find something you like"

"I might have to try a bite of whatever you get too" Riley said, "For the baby of course"

"You're going to use that excuse as long as you can" Max called it, patting Riley's hip as he opened the door for her, "Babe you look good today" He admired her curves when she walked in-front of him.

"Did I not look good yesterday?"

"No- no you did" Max said, but Riley was only messing with him. "But this dress is ravishing on you"

"If you keep talking to me like that we'll have to go back to the hotel" Riley groaned, waiting for Max to walk through the door, "We actually might have to make a pit stop if i'm not going to see you for two weeks"

"Well, shit Riley" Max ran his fingers through his hair.

"I'm gonna miss you" She turned with him, walking from the back of the bakery to the front. "Every night"

"Babe-" Max's eyes were filled with desire, "You're unbelievable"

"Love you" She smiled, feeling his calloused hands fit perfectly in hers. Riley held his hand against her stomach as he stood directly behind her, "Calm yourself"

"I need you not to move a single inch or brush against me right now" He stood behind her stiffly, shuffling a step forward in line.

"Think happy thoughts"

"There's one really gorgeous happy thought running through my mind right now" Max mumbled, knowing a blush was spreading across Riley's face. "Do you want to know what that is?"

"You're making this worse for yourself" She looked over her shoulder which rosy cheeks. "Tell me at the hotel"

"I'll just show you instead" He kissed her cheek, following her forward.

Riley looked at all of the sweet treats in an enclosed glass case. She looked at the fresh tray of donuts being placed inside, which only caused her eyes to light up. Max moved next to her once he knew he was under control, keeping his hand in Riley's until she let go of it. She put her hair behind her ears, feeling Max look over her shoulder.

"Can we get a dozen of these to take back with us" Riley pointed to the strawberry frosted donuts with sprinkles on it. "Ouu- actually can we get a mix of the chocolate frosted ones"
