Sitting In Traffic

Chapter 142- Bitch is bouta get slapped.

Riley was packing to leave Monaco early for Charleston. She planned on taking a trip from there to Brazil for the race on Sunday. Which hadn't been discussed with Max. It was supposed to be a surprise, and she didn't want to get his hopes up incase she backed out. But Gustav was tagging along with her. She wouldn't be alone. Riley made her rounds excitedly around her closet, knowing she'd see Max in just a few more days. But before she left, she had a Halloween party she was attending with Jade.

Gustav was going to be around at nearly ten on the morning to take Riley to the airport. They had a commercial flight lined up for a trip to the JFK airport in New Jersey, then, a flight straight to Charleston.

Riley and Jade were in her bathroom, getting ready to go to the party as Jade was live-streaming. Riley didn't mind, she stayed off camera for a the most part. She was straightening her hair that she specifically got blonde highlights the outfit she initially planned to wear. Which was odd for her, she died it brown and cut it after her and Arthur hooked up. Now it was long again, healthy with new highlights.

"Go over to Riley's account" Jade told everyone, "My phone is going to die"

"Here" Riley handed Jade her phone, "Just don't make the account public."

Riley didn't care if she used it, but she wasn't accepting any followers. So if people were upset they couldn't see the live, that was on them.

"I'm gonna change" Riley said, walking across her bathroom and into her closet that already had the lights on.

Riley had two outfits. She had her main one, which depended on how much her bump was showing. She changed behind a closed door, she had bought the outfit Christina Aguilera wore at the 2002 MTV Music Awards while she announced an award for Eminem.

"Jade" Riley poked her head out of her closet, "Come here"

"Yes!" Jade turned around, looking away from her phone to Riley. She rushed into the closet, closing the door behind them.

"Interesting..." Riley said, putting a white hat on her head, "Eminem" She laughed, "Okay- I know I obviously can't wear this, but it could've been cute"

"No, it's really cute" Jade said, "Save it for next year!"

"I might have to" She laughed, running her hand over her stomach. "It's a lot bigger than I thought it'd be right now"

"If only Halloween was 3 months ago" Jade sighed, watching Riley pick up a silver chainmail dress.

"Literally" Riley groaned, taking her jean mini skirt off. "Whatever"

Jade shrugged and waited for Riley's to finish getting dressed before opening the door. Riley followed Jade out after she got confirmation that her bump wasn't on show. If it was she didn't necessarily have another costume option, she would've stayed home and watched Casper instead. Riley and Jade chit chatted in front of a live stream together for about ten minutes. Every now and then Riley would remove a viewer after getting comments about Noah or Jonah. But for the most part, conversation stayed clean.

"Paris Hilton, circa 2002" Riley answered a question in her comments, "Look up Paris Hilton's 21st birthday- it's that"

Jade nudged her when a small notification popped up saying Max was watching the live. Riley nudged her back, stepping out of the screen until her smile was under control.

"Oh young love" Jade said with a laugh while Riley was grabbing black eye liner to put on. "What time is it there?"

"It's..." Riley checked the time on her phone, looking above the live, she pressed the top of her dress against her chest with her hand, lowering the risk of flashing anyone entirely. "Almost 6pm"
