Chapter 119- Round 1, 2, And 3

Riley didn't know Daniel was coming back to Monaco before heading over to Singapore too. Apparently it was discussed by him and Max that they'd all fly over together when Riley wasn't around. It wasn't something she disliked, they hadn't all flown over together in forever. Riley was at Max's apartment the morning after they landed. She let herself in after spending the night at her house, allowing herself to be comfortable in her own bed that she missed the past weekend.

"Be nice to Toby" Riley told Sassy and Jimmy when she walked through the front door. She held onto him still, not setting him down right away, "Maxxx!"

Riley called his name a few times, heading down the hallway to see if he was using his simulator. He wasn't. Instead she heard the shower running in his bathroom when she entered his bedroom. She laughed to herself as she heard Max's attempt at singing, nearly closing the bedroom door behind her but noticed both Jimmy and Sassy following her inside.

Riley set Toby down on the bed while she slid her shoes off. She put her keys down on top of her dresser she had yet to move back into her room. Riley walked towards the bathroom door and knocked, wanting to let Max know she was there instead of startling him when he walked outside.

"It's Rye" She told him through the door, hearing him respond loudly back, but she couldn't make out what he was saying. "I'll wait out here"

"I'll be quick!"

Riley laid down on the bed, staying above the covers and reaching over for Toby. She kept her eyes on Sassy when she jumped onto the bed. Sassy slowly walked towards Riley, assessing the situation, sniffing her a few times before she laid over her stomach. They all stayed like that for another 10 minutes until Max opened the bathroom door.

"Hey Maxie" Riley said when he walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"I didn't realize you were coming over" He said, opening their dresser drawers for clothes.

"I thought I'd make a pit stop and say hi before I went to the doctors"  She told him, listening to Sassy 'meow' loudly a few times.

"When is it?"

"Two hours" She said, petting Sassy, "I'll leave in an hour if you didn't have plans"

"No I'm free" He told her quickly, grabbing clothes then heading towards the bathroom, "I was going to use the sim but this is better"

"That was the first place I looked for you" She told him loudly when the bathroom door closed again. "What circuit were you going to practice?"

"Singapore's" He told her through the door, tossing on a pair of shorts, "Just until I had it down"

"Maxie take a break for today" She told him when the door opened, "Don't over do it, take a rest day"

"Being home is enough rest" He said, walking to her side of the bed, looking at the cat that starting staring up at him, "I thought Sassy didn't like you"

"Looks like she had a change of heart" Riley mumbled as Max picked her up and set her on the ground. "Great, what could've been a bonding experience you ruined"

"I didn't ruin anything" Max said, taking Toby from Riley and putting him on the ground as well.

"We're not doing anything before my appointment" She held her arms open wide for Max while he laid down with her.

"I'm just laying here"

Riley was sitting at her gynecologist's office to get an IUD just like her and Max had planned. She was eager to get this over with, knowing that it wasn't going to feel comfortable while getting inserted. Riley was there longer than she wanted to be, it was her first time seeing a doctor in Monaco. There were papers that she needed to fill out that she hadn't yet, basic things that they needed in their system.
