"All aboard!"

Riley yelled when Max was walking down the yacht. She was standing on the top deck waving at him with a smile on her face. It was early morning and they were trying to avoid water traffic. Max looked like he wanted to fall asleep while Riley was wide awake. She was having pregnancy insomnia. It didn't matter how tired she felt at night, she wouldn't fall asleep. Yet as soon as the sun rose, she was ready for a nap.

"Cheer up Max" Riley said loudly to him, getting flipped off in the process, "That'll get you another day of community service!"

"It's too early for this Rye"

"You said-" She gaped, walking along the railing when Max was headed up the steps to her. "You're just mad I didn't sleep over last night"

"You should've come home" He grumbled, reaching the top step. He stood there and looked at Riley without walking any closer for a moment.

"Jade was there" She told him, leaning her hip against the railing, "You could've stayed over though Max, my bedroom was unlocked and wide open for you... I could've kicked Jade to the couch"

"I wasn't going to bother you when I was drunk and you were already passed out in the living room"

"Did you enjoy yourself though?" She asked, motioning for him to come closer as he stood there.

"Sorry I was taking in my view" He apologized with a cheeky smile, watching Riley blush as he walked towards her. "Yes I enjoyed myself"

"If you're still hungover Max we can go to the bedroom" She suggested when Max leaned in-front of her. "Whatever you want it's your day"

"I'm not hungover" He lied, looking at the dock they started to move away from.

"You quite literally are.." She shook her head while Max protested over her words, "You are too! And you're grumpy so-"

"I'm not"

"Whatever you say birthday boy" Riley sighed, nearing him slowly, she put a hand on his arm in attempts to squeeze between him and the railing.  "Scoot over"

Max lifted his arm and trapped Riley between him and the railing, which is exactly what she wanted. Riley smiled to herself when Max's chin laid on her shoulder, Max's eyes were on Riley, waiting for a reaction. He wanted her to look at him so he could swoop in. But Riley's eyes lingered on his hand holding the rail.

"Are you wearing a new perfume" Max asked her after smelling a difference, leaning into her neck to smell the scent.

"Yeah it's vanilla and honey now" She told him, feeling one arm tightly snake around her.

"What happened to the cherry one?"

"I was just looking for a change" She mumbled, placing her hand over Max's arm, pulling it around her more. Max got the hint and wrapped his other arm around her, giving her the squeeze she had been waiting for. "Change is good"

"Yeah well, you smell like a marshmallow" Max shrugged, "Why are you all about changes lately"

"Because-" She paused, feeling a colder breeze against her skin, "I don't know, changes aren't too bad... I've just been thinking about a few i'd like to make a lot lately"

"Like what?"

"Like, maybe potentially moving in with you" She told him, looking over her shoulder.

She closed her eyes once his plump lips were against hers, she felt herself getting backed away from the railing. Riley followed where Max was pulling her, all the way to the couch.
