Riley had pulled up to the dockside with Max. She assumed they were going on his yacht again because she could see it in the distance. She was waiting outside Max's door while he checked his pockets for all of her keys. Riley looked out at the sky, seeing the pink glow across the sky as the sun was setting quickly.

"You're going to kill me" Max said, getting out of the car and closing the door behind him. Riley pressed the button on her keys to lock the door.

"Why" She said with an uneasy laugh, stepping away from the hand Max was putting on her back.

"You'll see" He told her, resting his hand on her back when she stepped closer to him. "You'll either love this or hate it"

"Okay but I won't kill you" She said, following his steps, "You scared me"

"I should've worded that differently" He shrugged, his hand dropped from her waist when Riley started walking ahead of him. "Wait"

"What" Riley turned on her heel to face him with. smile.

"Close your eyes" He told her, moving behind her with a hand covering her eyes.

"I don't even know what I'm looking for" She told him, walking forwards slowly with Max's hand on her waist. "Don't walk me into the water"

"You can swim can't you" He said, moving to the side quickly. Riley gasped, grabbing Max's hand with both of hers.

"Don't!" She laughed, feeling her steps steady again. "If I go you're coming down with me" She intertwined her fingers with the hand on her waist and pulled it over her stomach.

"I won't" Max started laughing. He took more steps, Riley's were hesitant, unsure of when they were presumably stepping on his yacht. They were bumping into each other every step of the way, making it difficult to move quickly.

Max turned down a dock that was between two boats, one his own and one smaller speedboat. It was much larger than the last boat Riley had. This was a 42 foot luxury yacht. It had a cherry wood colored exterior and interior, alongside cream shaded leather seats.

"Alright," Max said quietly, stopping in-front of the boat. He dropped his hand from Riley's eyes, keeping hold of her hand nervously. "You can open your eyes now"

"You should've said so" She told him softly, fluttering her eyelids open. Riley didn't think the boat was hers, she thought they were going somewhere maybe to dinner and docking off, maybe just for a ride around. Him buying the boat for her wasn't on her bingo card. "Ou where are we going" She asked him with a smile, pulling him closer by the hand she was holding.

"It's an J Craft Torpedo" Max looked at her, he was following her as she walked the dock, not letting her hand go as she inspected the boat. "Do you like it"

"Yeah it's nice, it looks like a classic" Riley told him, "Are we taking it out?"

"If you want to" He mumbled against her cheek, Riley leaned into his lips before she turned her head to look at him. "Are you going to get on"

"If I must" She said, Riley let go of Max's hand and carefully walk to the edge of the dock, stepping over it and onto the boat. "Do you want to take it out for sunset?"

"Whatever you want" Max said, nearly laughing when nothing clicked for Riley. He started taking the keys out of his pockets, well, Riley's keys."It's your boat"

"What?" Her heart dropped as she looked up at him.

"It's yours"

"No" Riley shook her head, denying it. She couldn't accept something so large as a gift. She looked at the boat she was standing on, feeling it sway when Max started getting on. "Ba-"
