Riley was sitting on a boat with Jade. They had been conversing with those in the yacht beside them. They've been sitting there for hours waiting for everyone to join them. Riley assumed her party of people were waiting for Max to finish media before venturing out to find his boat. It made sense, they had no idea where it was or what it looked like. Riley would've shown them, but she physically could not be in the same vicinity as Kelsey.

"No I'm pissed that she showed up" Riley told Jade over a glass of wine. It would be her first of many drinks that night. Everyone was going out after dinner that night to celebrate Charles's win.

"Everyone shows up to the Monaco grand prix," Jade reminded her, she didn't think there was anything for Riley to worry about. But she understood why she was. "Julia was probably here too"

"Great!" Riley exclaimed sarcastically, "I actually need Kelsey to fuck off"

"I guarantee that Max only has eyes for you" Jade tried to reassure her but it was hard. "He's so in love"

"It's too good to be true" Riley mumbled to herself, "Everything's so perfect with him I'm just waiting for the universe to toss something my way"

"Not everything has to end badly" She told her softly as Riley sipped from her wine glass.

"Everything in my life has" Riley sighed, "But I really want him to be it for me"

"Does he feel the same?"

"I think so" Riley said, trying to keep a frown from forming on her face. "I mean we've talked about having kids, but we haven't talk about actually getting married. Just that we see each other together with a family"

"You just have to trust him then" Jade told her, "I'm sure there's a reason Kelsey was there, and I doubt it was hi- holy shit it's him"

"What?"

"The love of my life" Jade whispered, scooting closer to Riley as a large group of men started walking down the dock.

"Where?" Riley was about to turn around but Jade squealed, holding her down.

"He's the blondie" Jade said, "Don't make it obvious you're looking"

"I won't" Riley rolled her eyes, very slowly and subtly glancing over her shoulder as laughs grew closer. "Where?"

All Riley recognized was Nathan, Levi and Holden walking towards their boat. Riley continued looking past them, trying to find the guy Jade was talking about, ignoring the small giggles that were coming from her.

"Can we just get on?" Nathan asked Riley, gaining her attention as she was scanning a different group of guys walking by. She hadn't noticed how silent Jade had gotten.

"Yeah," Riley nodded, "Did you guys want anything to drink?"

"I'll have a beer" Holden said, not noticing Jade hiding behind Riley. "Max said to tell you he'll be right out"

"Was he talking to someone" Riley asked more eagerly than she'd like.

"No" Levi said, following Holden onto the boat. "But he seemed pissed if that gives you any insight on what to expect"

"That's fine" Riley said, letting off some weight that was on her shoulders. "Holden there's beers in the cooler,"

"Where"

"Umm," Riley stood up with her wine glass in hand, hearing a very quiet protest from Jade that she brushed off. "I'm not sure where Max put it" She said truthfully, Riley had never been on this boat before. It was a rental, Max rented it out for the weekend with plans to take Riley and her family to dinner after the race. He didn't want to bring his big yacht, it wasn't necessary unless they were planning to have a meal on the boat. "Jade where did we find the wine?"
