Time skip.
At the top of a mountain, Keitaro was seen sitting down as his eyes seemed to be surveying the environment around him. All around Keitaro and around the hill what seemed to be a complex network of seals could be seen.
Their purpose was quite simple, their only purpose was to keep Keitaro training away from Prying eyes, and sorcerers, and no sorcerer was included in that list.
These seals however couldn't escape someone with a god-like perception, a category that was currently had one individual, Satoru Gojo.Thankfully for Keitaro, Gojo was currently preoccupied with a high-stakes mission- something about eliminating some special grades curse.
Apparently, a lot more of them had showed up recently, special grade was supposed to be quite rare but around 3 years ago, they started spamming around Japan like crazy. From what Keitaro could gather up, there used to be 13 classified special-grade curses, but lately, that number had jumped up to around 19 and Gojo was sent to eliminate them.
It shouldn't be too hard for the blindfolded sorcerer. This should be like a regular Tuesday to him, so Keitaro wasn't worried much about Gojo actually getting hurt on any of those missions. Due to Gojo's absence, Keitaro was left on babysitting duty of both Tsumiki and Megumi, even though he wasn't near them right now, he left them with a temporal clone, who was currently watching them.
Sure, the clone may not have any thoughts or sense of self, but it served its purpose quite well, he could give it a simple order and it would obey.
The simple order Keitaro gave his temporal clone was to look after the kids. The clone had the power of a grade one sorcerer with speed to match....in Keitaro's opinion, the kids were well protected.
"Just one week left before I leave Japan," Keitaro murmured, his gaze sweeping across the vast mountain view. He knew for a fact his stay in Japan wouldn't last much longer.
He had already gone on enough missions in order to accumulate enough money for his trip to England.Doing Missions was easy when the person doing them was the fastest sorcerer alive. He may have set a record by completing 10 missions in the span of an hour.
He probably could have done way more missions if he had tried.Though his record for the day was around. 50 missions, the mission varied from killing grade 3, grade 2, and grade one curses.
If he remembers correctly, he did face a curse on the cups of being a special grade, though he killed it before it became one.All he knew was that Akane had a very big feast from his little slaughter.
"Four precious days to prepare for the Gojo rematch. A domain expansion or further exploration... that is the question."
Keitaro's brow furrowed a bit as he weighed his options carefully. On one hand, achieving a domain expansion was pretty appealing to him. It would grant him the wonderful ability to counter Gojo's domain expansion with his own.Which was something he currently lacked; he didn't have a domain expansion. Currently, Keitaro relies heavily on his simple domain in order to nullify Gojo's domain sure-hit effect, it did the job, but it wasn't a perfect solution to Keitaro's problems.
However, on the other hand, the power that he had discovered a few days ago was also quite tempting in its own way. The power was raw, untamed, and yet Keitaro could feel the power that it possessed.
If he could master this ability, he would be able to do a significant amount of damage to even Gojo, potentially doing enough damage so that Gojo's barriers broke or enough damage so that Gojo couldn't maintain his domain for long.
That was the question currently in Keitaro's mind, should he risk it and go with that path, or should he go on the safe path and get a domain expansion which he knew he probably would get after 3 days of trying to achieve it?
After all, Keitaro knew his knowledge about barriers technique was higher than Gojo meaning if Gojo could do it, then so could he.
The only thing really stopping Keitaro was the simple fact that he was maybe a little bit of a perfectionist which meant that even if he knew he probably could pull off a domain in one try, he would try to perfect it before the fight.Which would probably leave him sleep-deprived for a long time, and then factoring in curse energy burnout, how the sure hits of his domain would interact with Gojo's alongside the simple fact that the domain would constantly try and drain curse energy from his body.
Keitaro had a difficult decision to make.
The choice was his, he was torn between 2 options. A domain expansion which was established to be the pinnacle of Jujutsu sorcery, or should he go for something he had no idea how it would benefit him in the long one.
A power that wasn't researched much, something that no one before probably could use......
Was he willing to gamble the opportunity of a domain expansion just so that he could have further mastery over an unstable power...
A/N...It's 50%-50%, so it could be anything.
