Keitaro focused all of his curse energy in order to find the seal he had placed on Edgar.
The seal on Edgar had a specific feel to it, if he was honest if he left a seal on a living being, he could feel their curse energy.

All he had to do was lock on onto the seal that had Edgar's curse on it and in an instant, he teleported.

He reappeared in a dimly lit underground chamber, the air was thick with malice...and venom.

Keitaro's eyes eventually landed on Edgar, he was tied up in the middle of the room.
His body was slumped against a cold stone pillar.

A curse, grotesque and nightmarish, loomed over him.

Its monstrous maw snapped open, ready to devour the boy whole.

What seemed to be a barrier seemed to be holding the curse back, however, Keitaro could see that the seal on the barrier was weakening.

The seal that he had made that could tank blast from a grade one curse had no problem for at least a couple of hours before succumbing was being destroyed so easily.

Upon seeing his sensei, Edgar's face lit up with relief, and a small smile appeared on the boy's face. It was as if now that he knew Keitaro was here he would be safe.

"Sensei!"

The creature head slowly began to turn its head toward Keitaro upon hearing Edgar's words.
However, Keitaro would not give him that sweet time.

With obvious intent to end the fight in one blow, Keitaro unleashed a powerful slice of his sword, slicing the creature's head from his body.

Upon decapitating the creature, Keitaro then proceeded to form a Rasengan in his hand, the orb was spinning with an absurd amount of power.

It was formed in less than a millisecond.

With no hesitation, Keitaro slammed the spinning ball of energy against the creature's severed head.

Keitaro watched as the head of the creature was utterly and fully reduced to nothing but ash,

Picking up his blade, he proceeded to use the curse technique available to the blade, the creature's body was sliced into thousands of tiny pieces that Keitaro proceeded to utterly decimate from existence.

Without wasting a second, Keitaro formed a Rasengan in his hand, the swirling orb of pure energy manifesting in less than a millisecond. He slammed it into the severed head, ensuring it was completely vaporized. The head disintegrated into nothingness, leaving no trace behind.

Keitaro watched as the curse reappeared a few meters away, fully intact.
The creature now resembled a disturbingly perfect man.

It features eerily flawless.

The creature opened its mouth, and a sickly sweet voice came from it.

"Now, now, this is not a way to treat someone," It said with a mocking smile on its face.

Keitaro's eyes narrowed upon looking at the creature, he couldn't believe that it had the gall to say this after trying to kill his prodigy.

Keitaro opened his mouth, his voice cold as ice. "You were planning on eating him. I don't think you deserve any less."

The creature merely just smiled.

"I don't know you if you have noticed but your attacks had no effect..." Before the creature could finish its sentence, blood came out of its mouth.

The creature's eyes seemed to widen a bit, what was going on, why was he getting hurt, the only possible way he could be hurt was if his very essence was attacked.

The creature's eyes then looked at Keitaro....could this man target his essence.....

..

....

A grin spread on the creature's face, this was fascinating to him.

"Fine, I won't eat the kid," The creature said looking at Keitaro with a sly smile.

"But?, I do have a deal with Alistair's family and you know in exchange for knowledge and power, they would sacrifice one of their kid to me every generation and if you were to stop me, that would mean the deal would be off" The creature added with a coy smile.

"What are you getting at?" Keitaro added that Coldly was in no mood to play games.

"You are a knowledge seeker aren't you, if you sell me your soul, I will give you all the knowledge in the knowledge I possess"

Keitaro crossed his arms, he was unimpressed by this. "And what's stopping you from flipping that around? What's to say you won't just enslave me instead?"

Also really, asking him to sell his soul, was something he did not wish to do, he had learned about the importance of the soul, and having someone having partial control of it is a huge mistake.

If a piece of your soul were to be missing at the moment of your death then your afterlife might not even exist, you might just cease to exist once dead.

The creature's smile faltered for a brief second, the smile then returned a few seconds later, this time more sinister than before.

"Ah, but the contract would be binding. A soul willingly given cannot be taken lightly. I would grant you power, and you would be my most prized possession. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement."

That was utter bullshit if he ever heard about it before

"Bullshit!"

The creature then looked at Keitaro before saying.

"Then I supposed you do not want to know the secret....to a barrierless domain...if you do, I might teach you how to do it"

...

..

..

..............

"So what do you say, wanna check on it"
The creature said raising its hand to meet Keitaro.
