Ouch. That's all I can say. Ouch.

Arrows shoot by, hitting me in the head, legs, arms, you name it. I collapsed, the pain weighing me down, pulling me into a previously unknown new world that made me want to die. And I was startlingly close to for filling that wish.

So I gritted my teeth.

I knew I must keep going. I heaved myself from the ground, wincing, wanting nothing more than to just lay there. I trekked on, trying not to notice the excruciating pain all over my body and the blood trickling down my legs and elbows. I kept going, destroying any tripwires that were attempting to fool me again with hardship - but I still did it. I saw the chest at the end of the hallway. Opened it with haste.

My mouth dropped open at what I saw.

Diamonds. And not just one, but ten. Ten diamonds! This would make me rich! Not only was it just that, but five gold and twenty-three iron bars, some bones and flesh . . .

I had hit the damn jackpot.
