Clio

“ Papa! Look at me! ” Calliope screamed in joy habang pinapakita niya sa akin na kaya niya ng mag slide down by herself. I clap my hand to acknowledge her efforts. We're currently at the park, as promised. Maraming bata ang andito kaya masaya si Calliope while playing, she also made some friends.

“ Papa! Look at this again! ” Sigaw niya ulit, she's now on the trampoline, bouncing.

“ Be careful! ” Pagpapaalala ko sa kaniya, she's off giggling while bouncing. Napaka saya niyang tingnan.

Bumaba narin si Calliope sa bouncing house and played in the sandbox with the other kids, I had to change my seat para masundan ko siya at mas malapit ako sa kaniya.

“ Gawa ka castle tapos make ako road, ” a kid ordered Calliope.

“ Gawa ka marami roads para sa unicorn, ” sagot ni Calliope habang gumagawa ng sand castle gamit ang sand bucket na hugis castle. She put the sand in until the bucket was full and turned it upside down, she slammed the top part hard para walang sand ang ma stock. When she pulled the bucket out and the sand inside it came out, it didn't come out looking like a castle.

“ Papa, ” tiningnan niya ako with a total disappointment in her eyes. She looks as if she just lost a lottery.

“ Hindi 'yan mag fo-form kasi nga need wet ang sand. ” I explained to her, walang tubig na available dito sa park at it clearly said in the sign right there that the sand shouldn't be wet on purpose.

“ Oh, ” disappointed niyang sabi habang nakatingin sa kalaro niyang babae.

“ Let's make roads nalang, ” the kid cheered her up at kinagat naman agad ni Calliope ang idea. Bumalik ang sigla niya as they both dig to make a make-up road.

“ You didn't tell me your daughter is beautiful, ” I heard a familiar voice behind me. When I looked over my shoulder I saw Zilas, he's wearing a black tank top and a grey sweatpant.

Why is he here? Saan ba ang bahay ng taong 'to?!

Umupo siya sa tabi ko, kakajogging lang ata ng taong 'to hinihingal eh.

“ What's her name? ” He asked habang nakatingin sa anak kong busy sa pag lalaro.

“ It's none of your concern, ” leave Calliope out of this. I don't want my daughter to know what kind of job I do. I want her to live with dignity.

“ Did you like the photos, ” I scooted over to the other side. Away from him. Bakit niya ba kailangan e open ang topic na 'yun in public?!

“ Clio, do I smell? ” Kaniyang tanong niya nong napansing medyo binigyan ko ng distansya ang layo namin.

“ I swore I never had a bad body odor, ” inamoy niya ang sarili trying to confirm if dahil nga ba sa baho niya kaya ako dumistansya.

“ We should have some boundaries,” I suggested nong lumapit sa akin. This is my personal life right now, ayaw kung pati buhay na 'to madawit sa trabaho ko.
