Chapter 10

Clio

Yesterday was the happiest day of my life, my daughter and I got the quality time I always dreamed of. I also bought her different clothes, shoes, and toys. She was so happy, her smile was the brightest yesterday. Since I still have 70 thousand pesos, tinago ko ang 50 thousand at nilabas lang ang 20 thousand. I'll be meeting with Zilas today at dahil may budget na ako, I was able to hire a nanny for Calliope.

Zilas texted me the location of our meet up nong alas 12 sa gabi, I wasn't awake by then nakita ko lang ngayong umaga. After naligo, I wore an outfit na hindi masyadong tight, I made sure na easy itong hubadin at soutin ulit.

“ Papa where ka punta? ” Tanong ni Calliope when she saw me spraying myself with some perfume. I bought a new one kasi ubos na 'yung isa ko. Ibang brand naman ngayon para hindi masyadong nakaka umay.

“ Mag wo-work si papa, ” I answered her. Tiningnan ko ang sarili sa salamin, ayos na siguro ang itsura ko.

“ Ate Mika will take care of you while papa is out ah, be sure to listen to her. ” I smiled and ruffled my daughter's hair. Mika is the babysitter I hired, she was the daughter of aling Mariah and she often plays with Calliope whenever I'm out for work back then.

“ Say bye - bye sa papa mo Cally, ” Mika asked Calliope.

“ Bye - bye papa, be careful sa job mo. I love you. ” She flew a flying kiss to me and I did the same. This is her first time seeing me go to work in broad daylight. It is also my first time.

I visited Zilas message to confirm my destination, he sent me an address on one of the huge villas we have in our city. This man sure got his pocket full of money. His living the dream.

Sumakay ako ng jeep dahil mahal ang taxi, maluwag at wala medyong tao na sumakay kaya hindi ako pinagpawisan ng matindi. Cloudy rin ang panahon kaya napaka refreshing ng hangin. Nong papalapit na sa may crossing ang jeep e nag sign na ako kay manong na dito baba, nagbayad muna ako bago umalis.

The gate is huge, halatang mayaman ang mga nakatira. When I looked at the houses near the gate, my eyes were filled with awe. It might sound like I'm exaggerating this much but they are huge! If I'm not mistaken, this house consists of 3 floors. Each of them has their own pool and a huge space for the driveway, the front yard is full of frog grass making it green and vibrant. It's a mansion! This villa consists of mansions!

Tumawid ako sa kalsada para pumasok na sa Villa pero pinigilan ako ng dalawang guard.

“ Ano pong sadya natin?” He asks in a gentle manner.

Ano nga ba sasabihin ko sa kaniya? Sadya ko dito? Ano ipapalusot ko? I can't tell them I'm here because my employer wants a service. Tatanongin nila ako kung what service am I providing tapos ano isasagot ko?! Think!

“ I'm here to visit a friend,” it's obviously a lie. I'm here for work. But I can't say that because you know why.

“ Ano pong name and what lot?” Tanong nong isang guard while opening a blue book that looks like an entry sheet.

“ Zilas Romaclov, lot 8. ” I answered, they looked at each other before the other one started turning the pages of his book.

“ Here sir, sign kalang po dito.” He offered me his book along with a pen na nakatali sa kung saan. Wow. Ang laki ng trust nila sa mga bumivisit. Grabe.

I stated my name, the name of the person I'm going to visit, today's date and time. Before finally finishing it off with a signature.

“ May I ask kung saan po ang lot 8? ” I asked one of the guards after signing what I needed to sign, and they pointed something in their hand. I followed it with my eyes and it landed on the furthest house that has a great design.

“ Diyan po,” they answered.

“ Salamat,” by that I left them para pumunta sa kung saan ang mansion na tinuro nila. Actually, napaka layo nito. Pero kitang kita parin dito dahil sa laki at lapad ng bahay. While walking I passed by the houses with luxurious cars parked in their driveway, I saw children laughing as they were being watched by their nannies.

Around 20 minutes na lakad ang ginawa ko para maka punta mansion ni Zilas, dalawang guard agad ang sumalubong sa akin after I step into the property. Take note, wala pa ako sa front door. I just stepped into the pavement leading to the door at dalawang guard na agad nasa harapan ko.

“ Why are you here? ” Tanong nila as they block my way with their body, they have a huge build a little bit bigger than mine pero we share the same height. I just need a few gym visits and I'll be as bulky as them.

“ I'm here to visit  Zil— ”

The front door slammed open and a man flew and landed on the green grass in the front yard, agad tumakbo ang dalawang guard para tulungan siya and my foot moved on its own. I ran up there to see the person who threw this man like a sack of hay.

“ Don't you ever come back,” it almost feels like my eyes have deceived me. It was Zilas who throwed this man out. Him?! A small fry like him?! Can throw a 6'3 feet tall man?!

“ Zilas, let's talk about this.” The man begged habang tinutulungan siyang makatayo ng guwardya ni Zilas. He was limping, may pasa din siya sa mukha at sugat sa braso.

“ SHUT UP! ” Malakas na sigaw ni Zilas and before that guy could even recover a high top boot went flying to his face. Napa atras tuloy ako dahil after the boots bounce off that dudes face it hit me on the leg. That must've hurt. Lakas pa naman nong impact.

“ Cl— Clio? ” Para siyang nabato sa kinatatayuan niya when he saw me. I saw a drama. I don't know what kind of drama this is but a drama nonetheless.

He stepped out of the door fully revealing himself. Wow. His outfit is something. Zilas is wearing a black cardigan buttoned up and under that is..... A white tank top? My eyes move to his legs. It was fully exposed because his wearing a dolphin short similar to those of women. I'm impressed that it fit him. But then again, his body is different.
