It had been a long week for Five Hargreeves and his wife, Y/N, so when Friday night rolled around, they decided to unwind at their favorite local bar. The atmosphere was lively, the music upbeat, and Y/N had decided to let loose a little more than usual.
After a few too many drinks, Y/N found herself a bit wobbly but in high spirits. She scanned the room and her eyes landed on a handsome figure at the bar. With a playful grin, she made her way over, not realizing it was her husband, Five.
"Hey there, good-looking," Y/N said, leaning against the bar for support. "You come here often?"
Five raised an eyebrow, amused but trying to keep a straight face. "Every now and then," he replied, playing along. "And you?"
Y/N giggled, her words slightly slurred. "Only when I need a break from my very handsome but sometimes too serious husband."
Five smirked, finding it hard to suppress his laughter. "Sounds like your husband is a lucky man."
Y/N leaned in closer, her expression turning serious. "Listen, mister, I have to tell you something important." She glanced around conspiratorially before whispering, "I'm a married woman."
Five couldn't hold back his laughter any longer. He chuckled, shaking his head. "Is that so?"
Y/N nodded emphatically. "Yes, and he's a wonderful guy, very smart, and quite the time traveler, you know."
Five laughed harder, barely able to contain his amusement. "He sounds amazing. What's his name?"
Y/N blinked, trying to focus. "His name is... Five. Yes, that's it. Five Hargreeves."
Five smiled warmly, leaning in to gently lift her chin so she could see his face clearly. "Y/N, it's me. I'm Five, your husband."
Y/N's eyes widened in surprise and then crinkled with embarrassment and amusement as the realization set in. "Oh my gosh, Five! I didn't recognize you!" She laughed, covering her face with her hands. "I'm such an idiot."
Five pulled her into a hug, still chuckling. "No, you're just a little tipsy. And very charming, even when you're drunk."
Y/N hugged him back tightly, her laughter mingling with his. "Well, at least I flirted with the right guy," she said, her voice muffled against his shoulder.
"That you did," Five agreed, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "Come on, let's get you home, Mrs. Hargreeves."
As they left the bar, arm in arm, Five couldn't help but smile. Life with Y/N was never dull, and even in moments like these, he was reminded just how much he loved her.
