The second game in the Lego Star Wars series.

Okay, first of all, I still don't exactly understand why they added confusion with the numbering of these Lego games based on Star Wars.

The first one is based on the Prequel Trilogy, the second one is based on the Original Trilogy, and the forgotten third entry is based on Clone Wars.

Secondly, there is little reason to play this version of the game, especially since the Complete Saga and the Skywalker Saga both exist, rendering this one nothing more than a novelty.

Still, as a game on its own merits, it's not half bad, and is...inoffensive given its price, even if the Complete Saga is always available on sale on modern hardware.

Similar in terms of mechanics to the first one, except without the annoying vehicle sections that caused restarts if even one of the two players failed, so thank goodness, and less...restrictions and ruggedness of the first one, making this a much more sandbox-like game compared to the first, but nowhere near the extent of the Complete Saga. Some great sequences include the Battle of Hoth and the levels of Cloud City and Endor. Also, introducing the ability to create your own characters based on collected and bought characters is very cool. Multiplayer is still well designed even today.

Overall, a good game, but one that is quite obsolete today unfortunately.
