A Star Wars action-adventure game.
First of all, it should be stated that this game is available on modern-day hardware, and given the fact that this format of the game doesn't run the most optimally at 60 FPS and has a frame-rate that is a tiny bit inconsistent. Despite its rather low price point, if you don't currently have a GameCube or Wii, then it may not be worth it to purchase this version.
This is sort of a hybrid game in which you are in first person with a blaster, and third person with force powers and a lightsaber, and so, it is a great game to get your Jedi itch before Fallen Order became a thing.
And so, even as somewhat of a novelty, it is a good product to come out of Star Wars, even if the franchise has been down in the dumps as of late today.
Although, it lost me, but I still have a little interest to return to it someday. As for why I placed the controller down? Well, its controls are...a little obtuse and are quite slippery in terms of movement, and even though I have no doubt that the lightsaber combat could be fun, it causes the game to chug pretty bad. I wouldn't even dare to think how impossible the game would feel if the multiplayer versus mode allowed for more than two players. The start was also very slow for my tastes.
It just didn't grab me like other Star Wars games.
Also, Battlefront exists.
Is a decent game on its own, especially for Star Wars fans, but this version? The competition is high with this one.
