A sports spinoff of the Super Mario series.
Okay, now this is quite the fascinating one.
You see, some consider this one of the best Mario sports games, and it isn't hard to see why.
Its visuals are iconic, its music is good, its style is something to remember, and its gameplay is really fun, especially with friends and siblings.
Crazy and surprisingly unhinged in its brutal action and speed, this game of hyper speed soccer or football (depending on your country) is truly a great one, making this a bit of a gem in terms of multiplayer whilst running well.
However, I will knock it some points for its rather underwhelming single-player offerings. Other than beating the game's campaign to unlock these bizarre robots to play as, there is nothing to do by yourself, which is disappointing.
But it is arguable that this is the best in the subseries, even with Battle League on the Switch, which could feel even more bare in terms of content.
Still, this is a good multiplayer bop, even if it is modestly expensive.
