An arcade-like hockey game.

Haven't played this one much, more so due to time and lack of interest in these specific sports titles.

For one, you will quickly realize that hockey video games are not my strong suite even though I do watch hockey, albeit not as much as American football.

And so, given that, you could assume that the Madden games are much higher, and you'd be right.

And so, what do I think of this game?

It's...fine.

There is a clear amount of effort here and I would see this being a great game for hockey enthusiasts, but I couldn't get into this one.

Runs well, is creative by having you create a team of an offensive player, a defenseman, and a wingman, some more arcade-like mechanics where penalties don't exist and you could do some shenanigans involving interacting with other players, along with some rather outlandish stages (like in space, on the Moon I believe), but I couldn't go any further.

Again, I'm mostly by myself in the city, so the multiplayer aspect is limited in effect for me, even when I played it with siblings.

Although, like the Madden games, it is a time capsule of the period, which is a good thing, as you can player as people that have since went to other teams, retired, or just stopped playing for one reason or another, along with playing as teams like the Atlanta Thrashers despite being a long defunct team today.

Overall, not a bad game to pick up, but it just didn't click with me as it should have, but does clearly have a place since games like these don't exist anymore, especially hockey-wise.
