Capitano felt a flicker of anxiety as Columbina's eyes fell on the Vision. He knew that she was sharp and perceptive, and he had no doubt that she would notice the resemblance between the woman standing before them and his past apprentice.

Columbina studied them for a moment, her eyes flicking back and forth between Capitano and the woman. Capitano could see the gears turning in her mind as she connected the dots, the puzzle coming together in her head.

"Would you like an apple Ms?"

Columbina chuckled softly at the woman's question.

"No, thank you dear," She said with a smile. She then turned her gaze back to Capitano, her eyes now sharp and knowing.

Capitano met her gaze, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew that Columbina was putting the pieces together, and he braced himself for her reaction.

Columbina studied the pair for a few moments longer, her eyes flicking back and forth between the woman's face and the Vision in Capitano's hand. Finally, she spoke, her voice soft but knowing.

"Ah, I see..."

Capitano felt a pang of anxiety as Columbina spoke, her soft voice betraying her understanding of the situation. He knew that she had figured out the truth, that there was something special about this woman that resembled his past apprentice so much.
"See what?"

Columbina smiled at the woman's question, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Oh, nothing dear," She said, her voice light and airy. She then turned her gaze to Capitano, her smile widening slightly.

Capitano felt a chill go down his spine as Columbina turned her gaze on him, her smile even wider than before. He knew she was enjoying herself, relishing the fact that she knew something that he didn't want her to know.

"______? You're awfully quiet."
Capitano felt a jolt go through him as he heard the woman speak his real name. Hearing it come from her lips was both sweet and painful, a reminder of both what he had had and what he had lost.

"I... uh..."

He stumbled over his words, unsure of what to say. He could feel Columbina's eyes on him, studying him with a knowing glint in her eye.

Capitano felt his heart pounding in his chest as he tried to keep his composure under Columbina's watchful gaze. He knew she was enjoying watching him squirm, enjoying the fact that she knew something that he didn't want her to know.

"I'm just... I'm just a little preoccupied, that's all," He muttered, his voice low and gruff.

"Oh right! She must be ur girlfriend! I'll leave u too alone! I need to sell all these apples before sundown for my grandma will be furious. I'll see you around _____"
Capitano felt a flash of panic at the woman's words, his eyes widening as he realized what she was thinking.

"No, wait-"He began to protest, but Columbina cut him off with a sharp chuckle.

Columbina smiled widely as Capitano began to protest, clearly enjoying the entire situation. She raised her hand lazily, gesturing for him to quiet down.

"It's alright, dear Capitano," She said, her voice laced with amusement. "No need to pretend on my account."

Capitano watched helplessly as the woman smiled and sauntered away, her cheerful humming drifting through the air. He felt a pang in his heart as he watched her go, his mind whirling with conflicting emotions.

He was torn between wanting to call her back and wanting to let her go, between the desire to hold onto the hope that she could be you and the cold reality that she wasn't.

He turned to Columbina, his expression a mixture of frustration and resignation. He knew that there was no point trying to hide the truth from her now, not after that little display.

"Just say it Columbina. I know that you want to"

Columbina raised an eyebrow at his tone, a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. She studied him for a moment, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Say what, dear Capitano? That you're in love with her? That you see her as a ghost of your past beloved?"

Capitano felt his heart clench at her words, the truth of them hitting him like a punch to the gut. He gritted his teeth, his hands clenching into fists at his sides.

"Yes... Damnit, yes, I do! Are you happy now?"

go around town selling my apples.
Capitano watched as the woman continued to sell her apples, her cheerful demeanor a stark contrast to the turmoil he was feeling inside. He felt a mixture of frustration and longing as he watched her, his heart torn between the memories of the past and the reality of the present.

Meanwhile, Columbina watched him from a few steps away, a smug smile on her face. She knew she had struck a nerve, and she was enjoying watching him squirm.
