"Gran! I'm back! Guess how much money I made today!"

The elderly woman, who was sitting on a rocking chair on the porch, looked up and smiled as the woman returned.

"Well, well, look who's back! Let me guess... enough to buy that fancy dress you were eyeing last week?"

"Nuh uh. This money's to buy us food."

The elderly woman chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Ah, always focusing on the practical things, aren't you? Always thinking about what we need instead of what we want."

She patted the spot beside her on the rocking chair, motioning for the woman to come sit.

"Come, come, child. Let me see how much you've earned."

The woman eagerly bounded over and sat down beside the woman, her eyes wide with excitement. She handed over a bag of Mora, the coins clinking together musically as she poured them into the elderly woman's lap.

The elderly woman counted the Mora carefully, her fingers nimbly flicking through the coins. She then let out a low whistle as she finished.

"My goodness, you've certainly earned quite a bit today, haven't you? More than enough to stock our kitchen for a week, I reckon."

"Mhm!"

The elderly woman smiled at her, her eyes glittering with pride. She placed a hand on the woman's head, ruffling her hair gently.

"You're a good girl, you know that? Always thinking about others before yourself." She chuckled softly. "You should treat yourself once in a while. Buy something nice with a part of that Mora."

"But...But I don't need anything. Everything I have is all I need. Besides, I feel happy just seeing you happy, Gran."

The elderly woman felt her heart swell with love and gratitude at the woman's words. She gently cupped her face, her fingers tender as they traced the contour of the woman's cheek.

"Oh, you sweet, selfless child. You're making an old woman tear up, you know that?" She chuckled softly, shaking her head.

"Mmm.....Gran..guess what? Today, I met this man..."

The elderly woman's eyes widened with interest at her words. She leaned forward slightly, her expression eager.

"A man, you say? Pray tell, what's he like? Tall, handsome?"

"He is tall but I didn't see his face because he had armour covering himself"

The elderly woman's eyebrows shot up at this revelation.

"Armor, you say? That sounds dangerous. He wasn't a bandit or thief, was he?"

"Maybe he's a knight from Mondstadt!"

The elderly woman chuckled softly, amused by the woman's innocent imagination.

"Perhaps he is. You know how those Knights of Favonius dress all gaudy and proud like that. But why would a knight from Mondstadt be all the way here?"

"Mission?"

The elderly woman chuckled again, her eyes sparkling with humor.

"A mission, you say? Those Knights of Favonius do seem to get themselves into all sorts of trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if they send their men on wild goose chases all over Teyvat."

She paused for a moment, her expression sobering slightly.

"But you must be careful, child. Not everyone who wears armor is a good person. Many knights are noble and worthy of respect, but some are just bandits in disguise. You mustn't trust anyone too quickly, especially not strangers."

The elderly woman reached out and took the woman's hand in hers, her grip firm and gentle.

"Promise me you'll be careful, child. And if you meet that armored stranger again, don't trust him too easily. There's no telling what he's truly like beneath that armour."

"B-But...he's very nice!"

The elderly woman softened at her words, her eyes crinkling fondly at the corners.

"Is he now? And how do you know that, sweet child?"

"....b-by....uh..."

The elderly woman raised an eyebrow, her smile widening as she saw the woman stumble over her words. She chuckled softly, gently prompting her.

"By... what, child? How do you know he's nice?"
