You and James had been broken up fro the last few weeks, an argument that turned sour very quickly.

You'd both decided that it was best to end the relationship, you two weren't right for each other right now.

"You need to get over him, he wasn't good enough for you. All the arguing and you know it" your friend convinced you.

You shrugged, not wanting anymore talk on the topic of James.

"Fuck" you murmured as your eyes were drawn straight to James as he walked into the bar where you were sitting.

"Oh boy, you better not be wanting to go over and talk to him" she groaned as she took a sip of her cocktail.

"Why would I?" you asked her as you carried on watching him as you could see that he caught a glimpse of you.

"Anyway he is coming over, so get ready" you smiled as you watched him walk over to see you as your friend moved away from you.

"Hi" you smiled as he stood awkwardly beside the table, playing with his nails.

"Bet you didn't think you'd see me here?" James laughed nervously.

"Probably not, but I guess you are doing okay right?" you asked as you watched him nod, barely taking your eyes off of him.

You were trying so hard to dislike him, but you couldn't stop staring at him and you knew he was feeling the same.

"How am I supposed to forget you if you won't even leave my head" you groaned as he had a sip of his drink.

"Oh right is that how you feel?" he asked as he took a seat beside you as you gently nodded.

"I feel the same, when I saw your face I knew I couldn't not walk over here. I think of you every day, I miss you so much" you both got up and cuddled.

"We need to work on things, take things slowly then?" you asked him.

"Yes that sounds perfect, I am happy with that" he smiled as you two have each other a cuddle.
