Mason Mount

It had only been a few months since you and Mason got together, you had mutual friends who set you up.

"It feels weird that this is our first summer being together" Mason smiled as he turned over from lying on his stomach to his side as he faced you.

"It does feel weird, but a good weird" you smiled as you played with his fingers.

"How did you feel about me when you first saw me? I don't think we have ever spoken about it before" Mason asked.

"Mm, hated you" you bluntly replied.

"What serious?" he asked as he sat up a little to look at you.

"Yeah, you came across as a prick because you'd had too many drinks when I saw you and to be honest you made a fool of yourself. I didn't even know whop you were actually" you nervously laughed.

"What are you serious?" he asked as you laughed and nodded.

"Yep. I thought you were pretty though and then I guess I kind of warmed to you when you weren't drinking. But once I discovered you were a footballer I assumed you would have already had a girlfriend. I guess I was being a bit self conscious" you sighed as he pulled your hand into his.

"I didn't even know you felt all that, I was very much single when we met and when I saw you I instantly knew I was going to somehow make you my girlfriend" you nervously laughed as you were taken back by that.

"What really wow?" you laughed.

"Well I guess it worked out well for us because look at us now on holiday enjoying each other's company" he gave you a big smile as the waiter bought your drinks over to the sun loungers.

"Yeah that's true, to us" you smiled as you hit your glasses together as you enjoyed the rest of the sunny weather before you needed to head back to the UK.
