Arjun POV:

I changed into the pink shirt as she said and went downstairs to see her dad and Aryan playing video games.

I slapped my forehead and went to them saying, "I will be going first, Guruji. I need to check with the services."

He didn't even glance at me as he shouted, "Okay, Jai," and continued his game.

I shook my head and asked Aryan, "What about you, champ? Will you come with me or with Aarohi?"

He also shouted, "I will come with Dada," his eyes glued to the screen. Now Dada is his favorite, I guess. Why not? That old man is known for pampering kids.

I just took my bike and arrived at the event hall. Whoa, the event hall was glowing. The chandeliers sparkled like diamonds, casting a warm, golden light over the elegantly decorated tables. The white linen tablecloths were perfectly pressed, and each table had a stunning centerpiece of roses and lilies. The stage was set up with a backdrop of twinkling fairy lights, making it look magical and inviting.

I saw Dhruv shouting at some employee. I asked, "What happened?" in my serious, cold tone. The employee shivered when he saw me.

Dhruv said, "Boss, he slipped a plate of desserts." I groaned, "Fine, it's okay. I made more in case of situations like this."

Dhruv stammered, "Well.....boss, the thing is, he slipped the plate which you made specially for madam."

"He did WHAT?" I shouted, and both of them flinched. The employee was begging, "Sorry, sir, I didn't do it on purpose."

I growled, "You better get out of my sight within 2 seconds, or else I don't know what I'm going to do." He ran away for his dear life.

Dhruv hung his head low, saying, "Sorry, boss, I was careless."

"There is still time, Dhruv. It's okay. I will make some more and get it. Until then, take care of here," I said. He gave me a strict nod. I went back to the cafe and started baking her favorite brown butter chocolate chip cookies.

When she first came to the cafe, she ordered this and her face lit up while she was eating it, so whenever I knew she was coming to the cafe, I made them just to see that glow on her face.

I checked the clock and saw I was already 15 minutes late. For going there, it takes another 15 minutes. I tossed the baked cookies in my bag and started my bike. By the time I reached there, I saw a bustling crowd, people everywhere. I hate crowds.

I sighed, finding Dhruv. Luckily, I found him near the backstage. He said, "Everything is under control, boss. Don't worry. You just enjoy the party." I gave him the cookies box and came back to the hall.

I seriously can't stand people everywhere. I tried searching for Aarohi, her dad, or at least Aryan, but I couldn't see them.

Suddenly, I heard a mic sound, so I turned around to look at the stage. Mr. Aravindh was there, standing proudly.

He said his speech about the company's 20 years legacy and how his daughter is doing a great job. At last, he invited his daughter onto the stage.

Aarohi walked like a tigress on the stage. There was pin-drop silence in the hall. Damn, the power she holds is immense. I couldn't help but stare at her beauty.

She was grace personified in that pink saree. The way it hugged her curves made my heart race. Her skin glowed, and the backless blouse, exposed her smooth, delicate back. Her hair cascaded down in soft waves, adding to her allure.

The way she walked, with confidence and poise, made every head turn. Her eyes, those captivating brown eyes, held a determination that was both intimidating and mesmerizing. She was a vision of elegance and strength, and I was utterly lost in her beauty.
