Harsh POV:

"Dhruv, we need to get to the airport as fast as possible. Proxy, come with us. Also, call Sanju and have her take Myra home," I instructed urgently, already running toward the car.

Dhruv, caught up to me. "What's going on here, Harsh?"

I jumped into the driver's seat, starting the car. "Chachu and Aryan have been kidnapped, and Jai and Aaru are heading there without backup. We need to get there now," I said, my voice steady but the tension in the air thick. Dhruv gave me a quick nod, his phone already out, calling Krish.

As I pressed the pedal down, pushing the car to its limit, I suddenly felt a wave of weakness wash over me, my grip faltering on the steering wheel.

The dizziness was brief, but the reminder of my condition hit me harder than the passing symptom.

I quickly regained control before Dhruv could say anything, though I knew he noticed.

But before I go any further, hey folks, how are you all doing?

Yeah, I know I hijacked this chapter from the author. She's been hesitant to let me speak for a while because, well, you all kind of hated me at the start, didn't you?

But don't worry, I figured now's a good time. It's the first and last time you'll be hearing from me like this.

Yeah, you heard that right—I'm dying.

No, don't get mad at the author, she's as torn up about it as you are.

I have Glioblastoma—a type of brain cancer. I kinds got it when me and aaru was met with that accident. That's why I was abroad for those years, but the doctors told me there's nothing they can do now.

I have only a few months left, so I came back to be with my family, with all of them. The only one who knows about this, though, is Dhruv.

"Harsh, what's going on? You look more pale than usual," Dhruv's voice pulled me back to the present, patting my hand with concern.

I smiled at him, masking everything I felt inside. "Oh, I'm fine, bro. You know me, always perfect."

Dhruv didn't push further, but he asked, "Do you know who's behind all this?"

I smirked, a bitter edge to it. "Oh, it's not just one person, Dhruv. There are two. I'm sure of one, but the other... I have my suspicions."

"Who?" Dhruv pressed, but I just shook my head. "You'll see soon enough."

We picked Krish up from the airport as planned, and Proxy guided us toward Jai's location, navigating us through winding roads and dense forest.

Finally, we pulled into a secluded area, a ground surrounded by thick woods. The silence was unsettling, and no one was in sight.

"Shit, we're trapped," Krish muttered, his voice tense.

We all grabbed our guns and got out of the car, moving cautiously. I scanned the area—nothing. Then, the sound of slow clapping echoed from behind us.

We turned, guns raised, and what I saw wasn't a surprise to me, but I could see the shock on Krish and Dhruv's faces.

"Am I the only one seeing her, or are you all seeing this too?" Krish asked, his voice laced with disbelief.

I shook my head, maintaining my calm. "No, bro. You're seeing her alright."

Standing there, with a smug smile, was her—the mastermind behind all of this.

"Harshi?"

"How?" Dhruv asked, his voice strained, trying to make sense of it all.

"Welcome, my twin brother. I missed you."
