Vencie POV:
It was finally the D-day. Everyone in the mansion was doing their best to ignore Arjun, acting as if they had forgotten his birthday.
Surprisingly, Arjun didn't mind, in fact, he had convinced himself that his birthday wasn't that important enough to be celebrated. He didn't even tell anyone that today is his birthday.
As usual, he went out with Aravindh and Dhruv following him closely. Once Aaru got the all-clear signal, she gathered everyone to start decorating the mansion.
"Harsh, no! It's not supposed to be there. You have to place it there!" Aaru shouted for what felt like the hundredth time, her frustration growing as Harsh continued to mess things up.
Harsh gave her a sheepish smile, trying to ease the tension. "Calm down, Miss Aarohi. Everything will go according to the plan."
Aaru pouted and sat on the couch, fuming. Myra chuckled at her best friend's antics, kneeling in front of her. "Aaru, how about you go and get ready? We'll finish the rest."
"But Harsh will keep messing things up," Aaru grumbled, glaring at Harsh, who promptly hid behind Krish.
"Trust me, I'll take care of it," Myra assured, gently pushing Aaru toward her room. "Now go get dolled up."
With a stomp of her foot, Aaru finally relented and headed to her room. She dressed in a beautiful blue frock, twirling around to admire herself in the mirror. She truly felt like a princess.
After a while, Myra entered her room and gasped. "Oh my God, Aaru, you look so pretty!" she exclaimed, rushing to hug her.
Harsh and Krish soon joined them, and Harsh found himself momentarily speechless at the sight of Aaru in her outfit.
He knew that she already belonged to Arjun, but he couldn't help the lingering feelings he had for her.
He had always loved her, even before Arjun entered the picture. But he also knew that Aaru had always seen him as her best friend, nothing more. He valued their special bond too much to ever risk ruining it.
Harsh admired Arjun deeply, almost like an elder brother. There was no jealousy in his heart about their relationship; instead, he felt genuine happiness for Aaru.
He knew Arjun was the perfect partner for her, and he was willing to sacrifice his own feelings for the sake of her happiness.
Aaru noticed Harsh lost in thought and poked his cheek. "Hello? Earth to Mister Harsh?"
"Oh, uh... yeah, hi there," Harsh stammered, snapping out of his thoughts.
"You look so lost," Myra teased.
"It's nothing. Come on, let's go and switch off the lights. Chachu called, they'll be here any minute."
Everyone headed downstairs, where the servants and maids had been helping the kids with the preparations. The mansion was filled with vibrant colors, and there was a palpable excitement in the air.
The staff adored Arjun just as much as they did Aaru, seeing him as part of the family, so they were thrilled to celebrate his birthday.
With the lights switched off, the mansion was plunged into darkness. She stood there, her heart racing with nerves. She desperately hoped that her Ajju would like the surprise and wasn't sure how he would react.
As she heard footsteps approaching the door, her anxiety grew, but she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
This was for her Ajju, for her prince charming.
