Gonna finish this book soon, so I will try my best to update daily or alternate days!
However you people are so spoiled by me, so spoiling you a little more won't matter right? Hehe.
Aarohi POV:
I waddled downstairs like a penguin because, well, I'm basically a balloon at this point.
I'm in my sixth month now, and both Ajju and Aryan are absolutely sure it's a girl—they want a daughter and sister so badly. Honestly, I'm hoping for a girl too, I'm fed up with all the men in this house!
I heard giggles coming from downstairs, and then Aryan walked up to me, gently taking my hand. "Careful, Maa. You could have called me to help you come down," he said.
I shook my head at his protectiveness. "I'm fine, Moonpie. I can walk on my own."
This grown seventeen-year-old is incredibly protective these days—believe me, even Arjun can't compete with him on that. Aryan won't even let me lift a glass!
I settled onto the couch, and Myra, who came over for the week since Ajju and Krish are on a business trip, asked, "How are you holding up, babe?"
"I'm fine, Myra. The morning sickness is gone now," I replied.
"Mama!" I heard a little voice and I tried to bend down to pick up my little bean, but Aryan quickly scooped him up and placed him on my lap, shooting me a glare.
"I told you to be careful," he said firmly. I swallowed, honestly a little intimidated by him these days—this brat is getting scarier by the day!
I kissed Harsh's cheek, and he giggled, saying, "Mama, Shasha and I made a fort. See?" I looked down to see Myra's daughter, Shasha, smiling up at me. I ruffled her hair, and soon they both scurried off, disappearing back into their little playing world.
Myra chuckled, saying, "They've become best friends, just like us." I smirked and replied, "Who knows? Maybe when they grow up, they'll be more than just friends."
Myra squealed, "Oh my God, I would love to see them marry one day!" I couldn't help but giggle at the thought.
Just then, I heard my phone ringing. I glanced at Aryan, who nodded and brought it over to me. My face lit up when I saw it was my husband.
I answered immediately, whining, "Ajjuuuuuuuu, I missss youuuu sooo much! When are you coming back?"
I heard his chuckle on the other end. "I'll be back by tomorrow evening, baby."
I hummed happily, and he asked, "And how's my queen and my little princess doing?"
"Well, your princess is behaving so well—she's being a good girl these days. But your queen? She's missing her king so badly, so she's definitely not fine."
"Awww, my baby. Just say the word, and I'll come back right now."
I giggled. "It's okay, Ajju, finish your work. By the way, how's Krish?"
"He's fine too. He's in a meeting right now."
I hummed in response, then handed the phone to Harsh, saying, "It's Papa!" Harsh's face lit up, and he began chanting, "Papa, Papa, Papa!"
Ajju chuckled. "Hey, my little prince! How are you today? Have you been a good boy for Mama?"
Harsh nodded enthusiastically. I facepalmed, laughing, and said, "Little bean, he can't see you! Say it in words."
Myra and Aryan laughed along, and I said, "Wait a sec, Ajju. Let me turn on the video call."
As soon as Harsh saw his papa on the screen, he chirped, "Papa, Harsh is being good boy with Mama!"
