Aarohi POV:

Thirty minutes after my outburst earlier, I found myself sitting with Myra and some of our relatives—more like her relatives, but they felt like family to me as well. We grew up together, after all.

"Aaruuu! Myraaa!" A very familiar voice called out.

Myra and I looked up and shouted back, "Harshiii!" Myra ran to hug her, and I followed suit. Myra exclaimed, "I thought you wouldn't be able to make it!"

"Of course, I had to be here for my Myra's wedding. How in the world can I miss that?" she replied, laughing. Harsh stood behind her with luggage bags I guess.

For those who might have forgotten, she's Harsh's twin sister Harshi one of my close friends, though she is more closer to Myra. Whereas I am more closer to Harsh.

They talked excitedly about how much they missed each other. Finally, she turned to me and asked, "So, Aaru, I heard you scored a hottie for yourself? Lucky girl!" she winked.

I scoffed, "I'll introduce him to you later. For now, go freshen up and get some rest. I'll have food sent to your room. Let's catch up over breakfast in the morning."

She nodded, teasing, "Still as bossy as ever."

I sassed back, "It's never going to change, babe. I'm born to rule."

Harsh sent the luggage with some of the butlers, and we both took a walk near the lake. He asked, "You wanted to talk to me, Aaru?"

I sighed, "I just miss the old times, Harsh."

He turned to face me while walking backward, "Come on, Aaru don't lie. The Aaru I know doesn't beat around the bush. What's really bothering you?"

Okay he caught me, I confessed, "I found out who was behind the article, Harsh."

His eyes widened, "Who is it, Aaru? I'm personally going to visit them."

I whispered, "It's Chachu."

"Say it louder, Aaru," he insisted.

"It's Chachu, your father!" I repeated more like shouted.

He froze in his spot, clearly shocked. I sat down on the sand, giving him time to process. After a moment, he joined me, asking, "Are you sure, Aaru? You know Dad would never do such things."

"I was shocked too, Harsh, but I double-checked everything. The payments were sent from his account, and the phone calls we traced was traced back to a SIM card registered in his name."

He nodded, understanding my thoroughness. "I know you wouldn't say this unless you are hundred percent sure, Aaru. But why? Why did he do this?"

I shook my head, "I don't know, Harsh. I'm sorry."

He asked in a low voice, "Does Arjun know?"

I shook my head again, "I wanted to tell you first, Harsh."

He pulled his hair in frustration, "What are you planning to do, Aaru?"

"I did a background check on Chachu's account and his entire history with our company. I found many illegal transactions linked to his name Harsh, including some with the mafia," I explained.

"What?!" Harsh shouted, clearly taken aback.

I can see him visibly shaken, he asked, "Are you really, really sure about what you're saying, Aaru?" I pulled out my phone, showing him the evidence I had gathered.

He looked on the verge of breaking down, and I gently patted his shoulder. After a moment of silence, he said, "I'm with you in whatever decision you make, Aaru."
