2 Years later>>> (Many POV's)
Aravindh POV:
I saw Aaru pacing with her phone, her voice sharp and no-nonsense. "I'm closing this deal, and that's final," she stated, her tone deadly calm.
That was when I knew—THE DEVIL was truly back in her field. And, well, I do feel for anyone crossing her path these days.
Hey, everyone! I know it's been two years, and a lot has happened, so let me fill you in.
Firstly, Aaru hasn't changed much. She's still possessive over Arjun, not even wanting to share him with her own kid, but she loves both Aryan and Harsh fiercely.
And Jai? He's mostly back to running his café, spending most of his time with Harsh, who, it turns out, is a total papa's boy. If you think Aaru and I haven't tried to stop Arjun from spoiling him, think again! But he won't listen.
And speaking of Aryan, he's now preparing for his board exams and mostly keeps close to his Maa. But I've noticed him pulling back from all of us a bit lately.
We've all been so busy with little Harsh that, yeah, Aryan's been a bit neglected, even by Arjun.
Thankfully, Aaru is always checking in on Aryan, making sure he feels just as loved.
Then there's our little prince, Harsh—now two years old, and he celebrated his birthday a few weeks ago.
He's just started saying small words, calling Jai "Papa," Aaru "Mama," and Aryan "Yan." He calls me "Dada," Arjun's dad also "Dada," and Parth "Baba."
Harsh is the exact copy of Aaru—not just in looks but in behavior, too. It's like karma decided to challenge Aaru by giving her a son just as stubborn as she is.
This little guy adores Arjun, and I've caught Aaru crying up a few times over it. Aryan usually comforts her, and oddly enough, he's become her main support instead of Arjun.
If this spoiling continues, Harsh might just become the brattiest, most stubborn kid around. Thankfully, Aaru's approach to parenting is rock-solid—she's firm yet loving, always making sure Harsh knows his boundaries.
Arjun, though? He's still completely under that little one's spell!
Aryan POV:
I stood outside the school gate, waiting for Maa. As soon as I spotted her car, I ran over and jumped inside.
She leaned over, planting a kiss on my forehead. "How was your day, my little prince?" she asked, her voice filled with warmth.
I grinned, eagerly recounting everything, and, just like always, she listened to every single detail. But after a while, as the car grew quiet, I found myself drifting into my own thoughts.
Lately, I've been pulling back from everyone at home except for Maa. I can't shake this feeling of being... out of place.
What am I, really, to them? Bhaiyya's stepbrother? Or just a son who wasn't really supposed to be here in the first place?
Every time that thought creeps up, I remind myself that I'm living for Maa. But it's hard not to notice how things have changed.
Jai—well, he's just Jai now, not "Bhaiyya" or "Baa" because he doesn't seem to mind that I don't wanna call him that anymore.
It's not that he's deliberately ignoring me, but it feels like he's somewhere else, completely wrapped up in Harsh.
Harsh is his world now, and while I understand that a little kid needs a lot of care, I worry about Maa. She deserves more attention too, but it seems like he's not noticing.
