Aarohi POV:

I called some of shiva's men saying to take care of the bodies as I went upstairs to see Proxy standing near the door, he was panicking. I tapped his shoulder, and he flinched, moving away.

When he saw me, he sighed in relief. "Mam, you scared me for a second."

"Everything is fine, Proxy. Where is Harsh?" I asked.

"He said he was having a slight headache and left, mam."

"Oh, okay. You can also go back. I will come later." He nodded, collecting his things and going out.

I turned to my senior. Oh, I forgot to introduce her to you. Saanvi, Oops sorry my bad Saanvi Vihaan Singhania is the most feared woman in the underworld, a force to be reckoned with. Her mere presence could send shivers down the spine of the bravest men.

She was my senior in B.Tech, an arts major while I was in business. We met one day when I found her working in my favorite cafe, and we clicked instantly. This friendship has continued ever since.

Even now, after she is married to the best man, she remains in touch with me. Trust me, they both are the sweetest souls alive and the most dangerous as well.

"Let's go?" she turned towards me.

I gave her a huge nod, linking my arm with hers as we walked to my favorite cafe. I spotted Vihaan Bhaiyya standing there with a tray full of food in his hands.

I ran to him, giggling. I hugged him, and he hugged me back, ruffling my hair. "So, how is the little princess doing?" he asked.

"I am fine, Bhaiyya," I said. We three sat down to eat. I kept telling them how Arjun and I met, how Aryan was the sweetest and innocent soul I had ever met, and how everything clicked right when Arjun is with me.

I had already told Saanvi everything, but I told Bhaiyya again, who listened with the same interest. He ruffled my hair, saying, "I am glad you found your other half, Aaru."

"Thanks, Bhaiyya," I said, smiling. But my smile soon faded when I remembered the kidnapping incident.

Saanvi noticed the change in my face I guess, so she tugged me, asking, "You know you can talk to us, right?"

I sighed, telling them about the kidnapping and then about who Arjun really is. I didn't want to hide anything from them because they are the best life gurus for me.

Bhaiyya patted my hair as Saanvi asked, "You know what the strangest thing about love is, Aaru?"

"Trust?" I guessed.

She shook her head. "It's acceptance, Aaru."

"People learn to love, but what they forget is to accept. Loving them, caressing them, supporting them is indispensable, but at the end of the day, what really matters is accepting your imperfectly perfect loved one for who they are. Embracing their imperfections and flaws, and welcoming them with those blemishes and scars."

"No textbook can teach you how to love, Aaru. It's your own heart that falls for someone and gets the hang of carrying a relationship. The first chapter in your book of love has to be acceptance."

"You never love a person for their eyes, face, or physique. Love happens when the strings of your soul refuse to let go of the strings of his or her heart. Love happens when, in the middle of an ordinary life, you stumble upon someone who promises to make it better. Love happens when you know the person in front isn't flawless, but his or her love and concern for you compensate for every shortcoming."

"'I love you' isn't just a statement, Aaru. It's an emotion that gives you all the butterflies, an affirmation you give when you know the person in front is all that you've ever desired to have. It's the feeling that makes you feel all the roses you've ever wanted to feel and everything that makes your heart content."
