Vencie POV:

The next day, Ajju took Aravindh to his old apartment. Aravindh didn't like the small room one bit, and the neighbors weren't so good either.

Ajju cleared everything with the owner, although it was actually Aravindh who blackmailed the guy to settle this quickly, but Ajju didn't need to know that, right? Hehe.

On the way back, Ajju met Krish and explained everything. Krish was so happy for his friend, and Aravindh even told Krish that he was invited to their home anytime he wanted to come and could have a sleepover.

With that, they both went back to their home only to be faced by an angry baby. Harsh was trying everything in his power to tame the little devil.

"Aaru, how about Radhamma makes you a smoothie, your favorite chocolate flavor?" Harsh suggested.

Aaru didn't even look at him. She just sat on the couch with a big pout on her face. Aravindh looked at Radhamma, and she shook her head, indicating that Aaru was really pissed, which made the elder sigh. He went and sat beside her.

"Princess," he began, but Aaru turned her face toward the couch and didn't even look back. "Why is my princess angry? Hmm? Can you tell Baba what happened?"

Aaru shook her head. Aravindh tried to pick her up, but Aaru started crying loudly. Aravindh didn't know what to do. This always happened because Aaru never spoke about what was bothering her.

She always kept everything to herself, and when it got too heavy, she just cried. So Aravindh lifted her and rocked her back and forth, asking, "Princess, what is wrong? Please stop crying. Aren't you my good girl? Hmm, please."

Ajju extended his hands toward Aravindh, who understood and passed the crying Aaru to Ajju. Ajju held her tight as Aaru snaked her arms around his neck.

Ajju kept rocking his baby, saying, "Shh, look, your Ajju is here, Princess. Please stop crying. Shh, please stop crying for your Ajju, hmm?"

This made her wailing turn into sniffles. Soon, she stopped crying, with only occasional hiccups.

Ajju made her sit on the couch, but she fisted his t-shirt tightly, indicating that she didn't want to let go. So Ajju sat on the couch with her on his lap and asked as softly as possible, "Now, why did my baby cry?"

Aaru looked at Aravindh, who raised his eyebrows, so Aaru looked down and whispered, "I...I thought Baba and Ajju left me...like Mom did." A lone tear escaped her eye.

Ajju immediately hugged her and hid her face in his chest, saying, "I will never leave you, Rooh, I promise."

She came out of his chest and showed her pinky finger, asking, "You really promise?"

Ajju smiled, locking his pinky finger with hers and sealing it with a promise. "I promise, baby, I will never leave you."

Aaru broke into a huge smile. Soon she was picked up by Aravindh, who also promised her the same.

Ajju understood the weight of his promise, and he willingly made that promise because he had promised himself that he would never leave his baby's side.

When he saw that she was crying, he didn't like it one bit, he felt like his heart was breaking. That is why he immediately took her into his arms.

Even Aaru felt the same way, she stopped crying because she felt safe with her Ajju. She now knew that after her Baba, there is someone who would not hesitate to give his life while protecting her.

They didn't know the word "love" yet, but what they felt for each other was pure and innocent.

Aravindh was at peace seeing these two get along so well. He never expected that Aaru would tell the reason, but she did. She was completely opening up to Ajju.
