Arjun POV:

"I didn't intentionally shout at you, Rooh. Why don't you understand?"

"Fine, Ajju. Just look into my eyes and tell me to go. I swear, I will never show you my face until you come to me," she said, her voice devoid of emotion.

I sighed, gathering all my courage. I looked into her eyes and said, "Wait for me, Rooh. I will come back home soon."

She scoffed, wiping her tears. She turned around and walked away. After some time, I ran after her, only to see her car crashed into a tree.

"NOOO ROOOHHH" I ran there, breaking the window glass.

My heart raced as I reached the wreck. Fear gripped me, thinking about the worst. How could I let her walk away like that? Why did I let my pride get in the way?

The sight of her car shattered my soul. I couldn't lose her, not now, not ever. Every moment without her felt like an eternity, and now, seeing her like this, my heart felt like it was being torn apart.

I gasped, waking up suddenly. My breath was uneven. I looked around, taking a deep breath and sighing in relief when I saw I am still in our room. It was all just a dream.

But wait where is Rooh? Did something happen to her again? Did she leave me again? Panic set in me.

The door clicked open, and I saw her walking toward me with a tray of food. I quickly ran to her, took the tray, and placed it on the coffee table.

I hugged her tightly, So tightly that I don't know if she can breathe, but she didn't complain. She kept caressing my hair as I buried my face in her neck.

She is here. She is safe. She is not going to leave me.

She said softly, "I am here, Ajju. Did you have a nightmare?" I gave her a small nod, and she asked, "You wanna talk about it?"

I shook my head, not wanting to relive it again. I don't want to see her getting hurt. It breaks my heart.

She pushed me out of the hug and looked into my eyes. She gave me my most favorite smile of hers and said, "You are so tall, mister. Can you please bend a little?"

I weakly smiled, bending down to her face. She touched my forehead, and her face frowned. "You still have a fever, Ajju," she said, pushing me to bed.

"It's okay, Rooh. I will take a tablet, and I will be super fine."

She glared at me with a small pout on her face. Trust me, there is nothing I fear in this world more than this look on her face. So I silently tucked in, and she placed the tray in front of me, saying, "Eat. I will bring you medicines."

I nodded, taking the steamed buns. As soon as I took one bite, my face paled. I know who made this. I side-eyed her and saw she was eagerly watching for my reaction.

Oh God, please save me.

I tried my best to have the best smile on my face, saying, "Wow, Rooh, these are so good."

She laughed, asking, "Really?" Damn, that sparkle in her eyes. I would do anything for that. Eating these steamed buns is a very small task.

"Yes, Rooh. Who made these?" I asked.

She had this proud smile on her face, saying, "Guess, Ajju?"

I chuckled, cupping her face with my free hand. "Of course, it is you who made these delicious buns, right?"

She giggled, leaning into my hand, saying, "Yes, Ajju. I asked Radhamma to help me, but I made these all by myself."

Great, I thought, as I said, "Why don't you get me medicines while I finish these, Rooh?"
