Author POV:
As the wedding is almost down, only some of the very close relatives stayed back for the after-party. The younger crowd enjoyed slow music playing in the background.
Krish is now half drunk, dancing vigorously to a slow song, making everyone around laugh. Myra shook her head with clear embarrassment on her face.
Harshi was making Myra dance while Harsh, Proxy, and Dhruv kept talking about something.
Meanwhile, Aarohi and Arjun were sitting on the couch with Aryan sticking to Aarohi like a koala. He was very close to falling asleep but wanted to be awake and enjoy the evening with everyone, so he is trying his best not to doze off.
Suddenly, Krish grabbed a mic, gaining everyone's attention, including the elders. Aravindh was talking to Mr. Rathore.
Yes, Mr. Rathore came to the wedding as Krish's father is a friend of his, and he had been hiding from his son the whole time. Arjun didn't have a clue about his presence because Aarohi took care of that.
Krish shouted, "Angel.....you know, you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Marrying you is like a dream co....me true. (hiccup) I promise to love you more every day, even when you nag m...e ab..out leaving my so..cks everywhere, (hiccup) or when you st....eal all the snacks co...vers at night. You're my best friend, my partner in crime, and now my wife. I love you more than words can say, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life making you as happy as you've made me."
Everyone was controlling their laughter, looking at Krish. Suddenly, Krish threw the mic and shouted, "Enjoy your single life, you fuckers! I'm not single anymore!" With that, he came and stood in front of Arjun, who raised his eyebrow.
Krish pouted like a kid wanting something from his dad. Aarohi enjoyed this scene very much.
Krish said, "You should drink with me, AJ."
Arjun, for the nth time, shook his head at his best friend's antics and said, "I am not drinking, Krish, and you should also stop because you are already half drunk."
Krish looked at Aarohi saying, "Please let my best friend drink with me."
Aarohi smirked, "I am not stopping anyone, Krish. Your best friend can do anything he wants."
Arjun looked at her and said, "Baby, you are supposed to save me from this."
Aarohi chuckled, "Go relax yourself, Ajju. Nothing is going to happen."
Arjun rubbed his temples and got up. Within a second, Krish dragged him to the bar. Aryan looked at Aarohi with heavy eyes, asking, "You okay, Princess Aaru?"
She smiled, kissing his forehead, "Of course, I am, Moonpie."
She is totally okay, but she know Arjun is not. After yesterday's incident, it was clear to Aarohi that Arjun was more disturbed.
She knew exactly what he was feeling. He was scared they might plan another attack. He was scared something might happen to her again.
Aarohi didn't want any of that to happen either, so she asked Proxy to keep checking the CCTV for any suspicious activity.
Proxy had been on his toes since morning, the poor boy didn't even get to relax on vacation.
But he swore his life to protecting Aarohi because she was the one who helped him with everything in his life, from his mother's medical bills to his sister's college expenses. She was like an elder sister to him, and she treated him like a younger brother as well.
Aryan kept talking to Aarohi about everything. Meanwhile, Arjun kept staring at them from a distance. He had a beer in one hand, and Krish kept eating his head with utterly nonsensical topics.
