Since many of you texted me asking an update, here it is! Enjoy!!

Vencie POV:

"Shiva, where exactly are you all right now?" Aaru asked, her voice steady as she spoke into her phone.

"Uh, Aaru, I think we are in the east zone, deep inside the forest. Why? Is anything wrong?" Shiva replied, sounding uncertain over the call.

"Nothing. Just keep updating me if you have any change of plans by the night, okay?" Aaru instructed, her tone firm.

"Uh, um, okay, sure, Aaru," Shiva agreed hesitantly. He could feel that something was off, but with Arjun's phone unavailable, he had no way of conveying his unease to him.

After hanging up, Aaru turned to find Harsh glaring at her.

"What?" she snapped.

"Aaru, I'm warning you again, if anything goes wrong tonight, I sw—" Harsh started, but Aaru cut him off.

"Harsh, he made my Ajju cry! How do you expect me to just leave it?" she retorted fiercely.

Harsh groaned in frustration. "He is a fucking mafia king, for God's sake, Aaru! Think rationally!"

It had been three to four hours since the incident, and Arjun was feeling a severe headache. They had all come back home, where Arjun was now sleeping in his room while Dhruv was taking care of the company.

Harsh had been warning Aaru for the last hour, trying to get her to see reason, but the stubborn brat wasn't listening.

He had a bad gut feeling about this, which was why he was opposing her plan so strongly. Usually, he was right there with her, supporting her in all her reckless adventures.

"Harsh, okay, fine, leave Ajju out of this," Aaru argued, her voice growing more intense. "Did you hear what she said? She said that the fucking mafia king wants me!"

Harsh felt his own blood boil at her words. He had always been protective of Aaru, not just because he loved her but because he genuinely cared about her well-being.

Even Aaru knew how much he respected her and cherished their friendship, which was why she loved him as a best friend—and respected him because he never crossed that line.

Harsh groaned again. "Fine, let's do it. But if even the slightest thing goes wrong, I'm calling Jai then and there."

"Harsh!" Aaru whined, but Harsh cut her off.

"No, Aaru, this isn't up for negotiation. If this isn't a deal, then I'm not coming with you," Harsh stated firmly.

Aaru scoffed, realizing she wasn't going to win this argument. "Fine, deal."

With that, the two of them headed out of the house. As they were leaving, Aravindh stopped them.

"Where are you going, kids?" he asked.

"Just to get some ice cream, Baba. Don't worry, we will come back soon," Aaru said casually.

"But it's already getting dark..." Aravindh sighed, watching as the two figures disappeared, completely ignoring his presence.

He shook his head, muttering to himself, "And that brat Jai says I'm the one who is spoiling her. Now look who's turned her into a stubborn brat."

Harsh drove them through the dense forest, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. Though they were both just 14 years old, they were quite skilled in these situations.

(Now you all-☠️ don't come at me asking he is just 14 how can he drive! He just does!)

Harsh, being one of the golden three, was no stranger to dangerous missions, and as for Aarohi—everyone knew she was fearless.
