From this chapter onwards, the story will move into a flashback until I indicate that the flashback has ended. The entire flashback will be written from the author's point of view(Some chaps I will inform if it is Other's POV). Please adjust accordingly.

Also, before we dive into the story, I must admit that I suck with timelines, so please ignore any inconsistencies with ages or other time-related details.

Vencie POV:

Arjun-13
Aarohi-10

Aarohi was playing in the garden with Aravindh when Parth arrived. "Hi, Chachu!" Aarohi greeted, her face lighting up with a smile. Parth ruffled her hair affectionately.

"How is my little princess doing?" he asked.

"I'm doing very good, Chachu. Where is Harsh?" Aarohi replied.

"Here I am," said a little boy of the same age as Aarohi, emerging from behind Parth. The two children immediately ran off to play together.

Aravindh turned to Parth, "Are you sure about this decision, Parth?"

Parth nodded. "It's better if we send her abroad to my sister, Aravindh. She's getting out of control these days, and I thought of sending Harsh as well, but he didn't want to go, so I let him stay."

Aravindh nodded in understanding. "Fine then, off you go. I'll take care of Harsh until you come back."

Parth patted Aravindh's back in gratitude. "I'll be back in two days, Aravindh. Thanks, I owe you one." With that, Parth left.

Aravindh turned to the kids and shouted, "Does anyone want to go to the park?"

They both came running, shouting, "Me! Me!"

All three headed to the park where Aarohi and Harsh met their friend Myra. The three had been friends since they were very young, sharing a close bond. Aravindh bought ice creams for the kids and then sat on a bench, keeping a watchful eye on them as they played.

After some time, Aravindh heard someone crying. He got up and looked around to find a small boy, probably two to three years older than Aarohi, sitting on a corner bench, weeping.

Aravindh approached and sat beside him. The boy looked up and wiped his tears, immediately stood to walk away, but Aravindh gently caught his hand.

"Hey there, champ. What's your name?" he asked.

The boy hesitated before replying, "I am Arjun Jaidev. Sorry if I disturbed you, uncle."

"No, not at all. Come, sit," Aravindh said kindly. Ajju felt somewhat restless because he was already devastated with his mothers condition and on top of that if his stepmom's men found him then it will be a disaster so he didn't believe this stranger but something about the elder made Ajju to trust him.

"Do you want some ice cream?" Aravindh offered, but Ajju shook his head.

"Can I know why you are crying here alone, champ? Where are your parents?"

Ajju's heart broke at those words. What could he say? That his father was with his second wife, neglecting him? Or that his mother was gravely ill, who will die soon?

Overwhelmed, he started crying again. Aravindh went in full of panic mode, because he didn't know how to comfort him.

Just then, a small, soft voice called out, "Baba!"

Aravindh turned to see aaru standing there, watching him. Ajju also heard the voice, he felt as though an angel was speaking. He peeked at from where the voice came and noticed a small girl in a cute white frock with chubby cheeks.
