Vencie POV:

Before we dive into this chapter, let me say one thing: this wedding is going to be different. No South Indian, no North Indian traditions—just my own version of what I know about weddings. I'll be keeping it super simple. Honestly, wedding chapters aren't my strong suit, and I'm just as eager as you are to finish these so I can get to the pregnancy chapters (which I'm way more excited to write!). So, please bear with me through the marriage chapters, and don't expect anything over-the-top. Let's keep it chill and get through this together!

Now, back to the story...

It's early morning—6 AM—and the mansion is, predictably, still in chaos. Let's take a peek at what everyone's up to.

"Oh, come on, babe, trust me—I'm a fashion designer, for God's sake!" Myra shouted, exasperated, as she tried to get Aaru ready.

Aaru, however, was busy grumbling and pushing away the makeup brushes Myra held out. "I hate too much makeup," Aaru muttered, her face scrunched in frustration.

It was time for the first event of the wedding—the Gauri Pooja—and Aaru wasn't exactly in the best mood.

After all, she hadn't slept well last night, thanks to the fact that she wasn't being spooned by a certain someone.

Speaking of that certain someone...

"Aryan! Stop running around and drink your milk!" Arjun shouted, his voice echoing down the hallway.

Aryan giggled as he continued to run in circles, his tiny legs flying. "Bhaiyya, pleaaaase! You know I hate milk! Why should I drink it every single day?"

Arjun, trying his best to sound firm, shot back, "If you don't drink your milk, I'm locking you in this room for the whole wedding!"

Aryan stopped in his tracks, pouting dramatically as he placed his hands on his hips. "Fine. Give me that goddamn white liquid."

He grabbed the glass, chugged the milk in one go, all while pinching his nose, and then dashed off with a mischievous grin. "I'm off to see Maa! Bye, Bhaiyya!"

Arjun shook his head, sighing. He set the glass down on the counter and made his way to the mirror, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Before he could get anything done, his door burst open, and Krish stood there grinning like a Cheshire cat, holding up Arjun's outfit for the Haldi ceremony.

"What the fuck, Krish! Knock before you come in!" Arjun snapped, glaring at his best friend. "What if I was naked?"

Krish shrugged with a smirk. "Pfft. If I had a dime for every time you've threatened me with that naked scenario... Besides, let's be real, AJ, there's nothing I haven't seen before. It's not like you're hiding a treasure chest in there, bro."

Arjun rolled his eyes. "Still, you need to respect my privacy, you clown."

Krish laughed and tossed the Haldi dress onto the bed.

"We still have two hours before the Haldi. Why are you here so early?" Arjun asked, raising an eyebrow.

Krish sighed dramatically, flopping down on the chair nearby. "Because I know you'll be whining about missing Aaru soon, so I figured I'd help you cope with your 'loneliness.' I'm doing a public service, honestly."

Arjun snorted, grabbing a comb and running it through his hair. "Yeah, right. You just want to annoy me before I get covered in turmeric."

"Exactly!" Krish said, clapping his hands. "You catch on fast, my man."
