Chapter 29

(3rd person's POV)

Team 7 was getting their next mission from the Hokage when Fumiko came.

Fumiko: oh, you guys are here too.

Naruto grinningly went towards her and hugged her.

Naruto: mom, we are finally getting some awesome mission you know

Fumiko: that's great

They finally meet their client who was Taizuna.

Hokage: Miko will go with you.

Sakura: but isn't it just a c rank mission

Fumiko: this is, but i have some work there near the land of waves

Sakura: oh

Kakashi: go home everyone and meet me on the village gates in an hour.

On the way home Fumiko and Kakashi was going together when Kakashi noticed how absent minded she looks. So he stopped and held her hand gently.

Kakashi: you can tell me you know.

Fumiko: Kakashi i feel like I'm not able to give Sasuke and Naruto proper time. They are still kids and need guidance but i have always been so busy that it's really hard for me to do so. So i was thinking,why don't i take break from mission and just do the office work and i can join the team missions too.

Kakashi: what about me??

Fumiko: huh?

Kakashi: what about my time??

Fumiko: *giggles* night time is yours.

Kakashi: night time~~~ *Smirked*

Fumiko: hey!!! I didn't mean that

Kakashi: i know, i was just teasing you

Fumiko: it's their first time going outside the village so i need to help them.

Kakashi: you go and help them.

Fumiko came near Kakashi's ear and whispered

Fumiko: see you later honey

Then she just poofed away making his heart go crazy.

Kakashi: she'll be the death of me someday.

........

Fumiko went to help Sasuke.

She went in and saw him packing. He saw her and ignored her.

Fumiko: how are you?

Sasuke: ...

Fumiko took out a scroll and tossed it towards him

Fumiko: catch it

As reflexes Sasuke catched it.

Sasuke: what's this?

Fumiko: keep this safe. This is a summoning scroll. Open it when you are in any danger, I'll be there to protect you.

Sasuke: *Scoffed* like you did last time?

*Silence*

Fumiko: do you have enough money and weapons??

Sasuke:.......

Fumiko: here,

She passed him money and a set of kunais and shurikens.

She left without saying anything else. What else can she say when he is gonna take every word of her in a negetive way. She went home to see Naruto packing a huge pile of ramens in his bagpack.
