Gisellana pov:

We walk to the end of the counter waiting for my drink.

She follows right behind me when we stop walking her head finds a place on my shoulder slightly resting not putting all her weight on me.

"Xolani."

"yes.."

"for starters why are you leaning on me?"

"uh, cs I want to. and my head kinda hurt."

"probably because you haven't eaten shit Xo"

"Whatever Madison" she said with a faint eye roll

I know she did not just roll her eyes she must be tripping foreal. I looked down at her in the eyes I saw a smile start to slowly appear, so I.....

Xolani Pov:

I knew she would see that eye roll so I took a second to look up. When I finally did I was met with her eyes looking right back. I started to slowly grin because her face was absolutely hilarious. when all of a sudden my face leaves her shoulder and slips into the palm of her hand. we're now face to face. My hand moves to hers to try to push it off my face, but damn she had a mean grip. It was tight enough to almost make a mark. She pulls me in so that my ear is to my mouth. That alone sent chills down my spine.

"Stop playing with me Lani I've been letting it slide since this morning check that attitude," she said so softly I've never even heard her speak like this before.

That threw me off so, as soon as she let my face go they called her name to get her drink.

We walk back and Gisellana is just talking my head off like everything is normal. I'm not gonna lie I was not listening I was simply staring at her mouth and her whole body language as she spoke about only God knows what. Then she stopped... I hadn't even noticed because I was watching the way her arms flowed so effortlessly with the way she walked.

I looked up to meet her eyes looking at me.

"What?"

"Nothing your eyebrows look good, you did them this morning?"

"Thanks, yea I did actually"

"mmm"

We continue in our tracks and we get back to the locker room as soon as we get in I see the girls from my gym class get back. we got back just in time we just sat down in silence for a bit. We had a peer project study hall next. It was a big group project everyone had to do in 10th grade. my group made a hat brand for my project and Gisellana did her tennis improving with her group since they all played tennis. We presented back in March so now it turned into a study period.

"You ready?"

"yea cmon I wanna see my man!"

"mmcht" I sucked my teeth hard.

We finally make it to the class room and we sit at our normal table. Mason walks in. I literally have no reason to not like him because he's hella nice to me and we joke around a lot.

(Mason will be in bold)

"Hi Maddy, hi Stoney"

"Hey" we both say in unison

I already knew this was going to happen but Madison was continuously kicking me under the table it was starting to hurt. So I reached for her leg keeping it steady and looked at her maybe not in the nicest way and said.

"Stop it now, that shit hurts."

All she did was laugh like a psycho. She has a horrible habit that when she's super nervous she laughs so loud and super hard and doesn't stop till she's out of the situation. Sometimes I can distract her from it other times I just don't have the energy and laugh with her. This time was different though I simply don't care. I let her laugh because girl hush. I just rolled my eyes at her. I don't know how or why but she calmed down fast and shut up.

I just started paying attention to my music and computer because her staring was making me uncomfortable. I could also vaguely hear her and Mason conversing; the thought of it made me roll my eyes again unconsciously.

Gisellana pov:

Mason and I are talking but I hear Xo sigh and roll her eyes while still typing on her computer doing what looks like history. Im not going to have her with this attitude and, I'm trying to ignore it like usual but I can't for some reason today. I tap her so I can get her attention. She slowly looks over to me.

"Can you come to the bathroom with me?" I say in the most normal tone ever so she doesn't say no"

"sure whatever"

I almost tweaked out because what the fuck is her problem. She got up before me so when I got up I was pushing her towards the bathroom.

"Damn G whats the rush?!?!"

I simply don't respond.We get into the bathroom she turns thinking we're gonna talk outside the stalls but I quickly pull her into one she tries to get out we're in the biggest stall.

I quickly sit her down on the toilet (the seat was down).

"Girl what the fuck."

"No what the fuck is your problem today Xo like damn ."

"omg G im cool, stop asking that."

"Xolani your lying. I can tell."

"you can't tell shit bro let me out of here you trippin."

The way she talking to me telling me everything I need to know. She start talking like some hood nigga from the projects when she mad or hiding something. She just might've been a nigga in her past...

"I'm not moving until you tell me whats wrong."

"you gone be not moving fa a long time then." she said standing up to lean on the wall and pulled out her phone.

I swear im gonna throw her phone out the window why the fuck she keep pulling it out when i'm trying to talk to her bro.

I get up from leaning off the stall door and walk over to snatch her phone. I just turned it off cs i don't need her leaping at me again. She doesnt even look up she let me take it. she continued looking down. I called her name no answer. Im scared shes gonna tweak on me..
