Xolani pov:

Me and Gisellana have been friends for around 9yrs but it's been off and on because people truly don't like our friendship for some reason. But we have that kind of friendship where we don't have to talk all the time and I'm fine with that because I have my bad days. But I never thought we had a deep friendship till her sweet sixteen. I also discovered my true feelings toward her.

*Flashback to the day of the party*

Lani: omggg G ur party is today are u excited ???

Gisellana 🤡🙉: I'm acc shitting myself I'm scared asl

Lani: girl you gonna be fine are u getting my hair done yet?

Gisellana 🤡🙉: yea already did getting some food now
Have you gotten yours done yet?

Lani: I'm getting it done now

I let her choose my hairstyle because it was her party and I was making an entrance. I'm so nervous but at least I'm doing it with Eliana she's G's friend but we became friends too don't text really but talk at school. I was going to her house after I got my hair done since I didn't go to school today and needed a ride so I won't be late.

I rushed home after my appointment did my lashes quick then grabbed the stuff I needed to head to Eliana's I knew Siana would be there and I wasn't exactly happy about it but it's whatever.

Omniscient POV:

Xolani gets to Eli's house and says hi to the
mom and the mom take her to the back of Elians house where her room is. Xolani says hi to Siana since she's the only one in the room then Eli walks out of the bathroom fresh out the shower her hair wet but not drenched. Her coils lie as a second skin on her shoulders. Her towel was held up by her arms and it just barely covered her butt. She says "Hiii lanai" Xolani turns around to see her and pauses a bit before responding "hey eliiii". The two converse for a lil then Siana announces she gonna change into her dress since it is almost time to get going to the party. After Siana came out of the bathroom Xolani went in and changed when she came out Eli's boyfriend had just come in they said there hi's and continued getting ready and left and got to the party venue.

Xolani pov:

We get to the venue and I'm nervous I put my heels on they're black with rhinestones all over they match my black dress. They did hurt but they were the most comfortable out of all the heels I've worn. I was just ready to see Madison. After a few minutes, her sister comes to the lobby to get us we go back and I see her...

I swear I almost passed the fuck out my heart stopped. She looked so beautiful all I could mutter out was woah. She looked at me weirdly and then said "Girl what". I managed  to utter "nothing you look amazing, okayyy hairrrr. Your dress is so pretty!" I could hear my voice trembling a bit but I knew I had to fix it and fast since it was her immediate family in that room and Eliana. We went out to the doc to take pictures. IT WAS FREEZING 🤦🏽‍♀️. We get done with the pictures and I and Eli are ready to be introduced to the party they call out our name and we walk out but they play the wrong song... it was annoying but it was whatever. Everyone else gets introduced (which is just her family). Then me and Eli sit at our table. It comes time for Madison's 16 speeches. She has a speech for Eli and I...

She pours her heart out which seems only to me which I know it isn't even tho the eye contact between us is heavy she starts to cry. Seeing how much she truly cared for me shocked me.

3 hours later...

the party ends I go back to Eliana's house to get my stuff and then Uber home.
