Jivika's Pov :
"I want you to go with me as my date."
It took a minute for me to grasp his words before I bursted out laughing.
"Nice one." I told him showing my thumb. Did he expect me to seriously believe in his statement, when I knew my presence was unbearable for him? That's what he said to me.
"I am serious, Jivika." Aayansh spoke with seriousness while passing me a glare, making me stop my laughter.
Does he want me to go with him as his partner? I brought my hand near his forehead to check his temperature, when he slightly jerked it away in irritation.
"It's not that big deal and it's not like you have anyone else to accompany you. So we can go together." He spoke when I didn't give any reply. My nose scrunched in annoyance, and I so wanted to deny his claim, but he knew it all.
I swear if I had a boyfriend I would throw him on this guy's face. Where am I going? I should deal with this trouble at present and plan my boyfriend later.
"Oh hello mister, even if that's the case, I am not going with you. Mai toh kya, meri aatma bhi na jaaye tumhari date ban kar." I rolled my eyes at him, taking in the heights of his delusional self to think like that. Huh.
(Even my ghost won't go with you as your date.)
"Kehne wali baat toh nahi hai par tum konsa kisi chudail se kam ho." I felt hotness on my face because of anger when I heard him chuckle at his rotten joke.
(It's not something to say but you are also no less than any witch.)
"Ab toh mai kisi haalat mai nahi jaungi." I stomped my foot on the floor as he took the seat, not caring about my words.
(Now I won't go with you at all.)
"You were talking about my partner, but you have a lot of people who could accompany you, right? So, why don't you go and ask them instead?" I added, staring at him with curiosity when he looked at me, narrowing his brows.
"You think, I would be here if that was the case. No one else is available, so I have no choice." He answered casually, making me speechless. Did I expect something from him? I questioned myself as the fact that I was his last option but not first choice pinched my heart.
"Hey, Jivika, I got coffee for you." It was Rachit who broke the silence between us, passing me a cup of coffee. I looked at him gratefully, taking it from his hand, which was in return snatched by Aayansh from my hand.
"I need this." I tried to take the cup back which he pulled behind him. I will break his head.
"Eww, this tastes so bad. You call this coffee, little boy? Just fire him, Jivika." He took the first sip and spilled it out, making bad faces. After telling me to fire him, he turned to Rachit, who was at first offended and then scared seeing his glare.
