[Flashback]
"Please, stop it both of you, I already said I don't want to talk about this," Aayansh shouts at his brothers, unwilling to discuss or rather argue with them on the same topic again.
"It's my life, and I can think about it. I can make decision on my own," he continues, frustration evident in his tone.
"Yes, of course, we can see how you are making a decision to ruin your life. If we are saying something, then listen to it. That girl is not right for you." Abhyudit once again tries to make him understand.
"Her name is Chahat, and on what grounds you are saying this? Just because you got a doubt on her? And why only her? Do you have proofs that she's in my life with a wrong intention?"Aayansh counters in response, his tone taking a defensive note.
He had met Chahat during his internship at Sisodia Industries. She was an intern too, bright and ambitious. They had bonded over project sessions and on-sight breaks.
Soon, their friendship blossomed into something more, or so it seemed. He fell for Chahat fast—ridiculously fast. Her vulnerability drew him in with an irresistible allure, making him want to safeguard her. Her stories of past struggles and pain awakened a deep sense of protectiveness within him, making him want to be there for her.
She mirrored his passions, engaged with him with a familiar connection, reciprocated his energy, and harmonized with his interests. Everything about her was effortlessly in sync with him. Within weeks, it felt like she was someone who truly got him.
But his brothers were not convinced. They had been warning him that he was moving too fast. He ignored their warnings, dismissing their concerns as overprotective instincts. All he wanted was her approval, her smile, her success, as she deserved only happiness.
"Aayansh, we have noticed discrepancies in her details, and whatever she is telling you is false."
"She is pretending to be the innocent and perfect girl to manipulate you. Clearly, she has got an agenda and she is using you for that."
Aviraj and Abhyudit weretrying to bring him out of the illusion she had created in his mind. They knew it would hurt now if his bubble would burst, but if things slipped out of hands, that would only bring destruction.
But perhaps destiny had other plans.
A bitter laugh escapes Aayansh's lips hearing their words. The rebellious side of him feels alive, seeing his elder brothers pointing finger at his ability to judge. Or maybe indirectly calling him kid and foolish.
"What's wrong with you, Ansh? Do you believe that we will think bad for you?" Aviraj questions, his expression unbelievable. For once, it didn't felt like he was talking to his baby brother.
