"Aayansh," Jivika's voice echoes through the parking area. She stands paralyzed, her heartbeat freezing at the sight. Tarini spins around, shock written across her face at the scene before them.

Aayansh's body jerks backward, and he feels himself falling as the bullet tears through his shoulder. The security guards spreads in all directions with a few running after the shooter.

The rest of the people stand stunned—shaken with the horific event that took place within a span of few minutes.

Meanwhile, Aviraj snaps out of the shock, rushing to Aayansh's side. He holds him before he could hit the ground and sits beside him, cradling him.

"What did you do, Ansh? I am here, just keep your eyes open." Aviraj fights to keep his voice steady.

"Forgive me, bhaiya," Aayansh says, his voice barely above a whishper, but Aviraj hears him. His eyelids flutter, struggling to stay open.

"Don't say that. Nothing will happen to you." Aviraj tightens his grip around him, assuring himself more than Aayansh, whose vision starts fading.

Soon, he closes his eyes, feeling everything going blank. Aviraj taps his cheeks, trying to wake him up continuously.

Jivika runs towards them, and crouches in front of them. Her gaze moves from Aayansh to his blook-soaked shirt. "We need to rush him to the hospital, bhaiya." She manages to speak, holding herself together.

"Open you eyes, Ansh. I am here, talk to me." Unbothered of everyone's presence around him, Aviraj repeats his words, his mind reeling in disbelief.

Tarini, who was standing beside him, keeps her hand on his shoulder, breaking his trance. He turns to look at her, realizing the gravity of the situation.

"Let's go." He nods, and with the help of guards, they take Aayansh to the car.

Jivika sits on the hospital bench, outside the room where the doctors were operating him. Her eyes were fixed on the wall, the sight of him soaked in blood refused to leave her mind.

A storm was raging within her, but her face doesn't reaveal anything. Her blank expression was concealing the chaos of emotions which was brewing inside.

"Are you okay, Jivika?" Tarini sits beside her, feeling concerned seeing her pale face.

"He will be fine," Jivika murmurs, absent-minded, and glances at her sister once before turning back to the wall.

It wasn't sure from her condition whether she was asking her or affirming herself. But in reality, she was trying to be strong, when something within her was breaking with each passing moment, leaving immense pain.

"He will be," Tarini reassures. Her attention drifts toward the entrance of corridor from where Abhyudit arrives in disheveled state, followed by the rest of the family members.
