Tarini enters the dinning area behind the staff who set the table for breakfast. Everyone was present there except Sidharth. Aviraj and Abhyudit were as usual engrossed in some talk regarding business, sitting side by side.Aayansh, who was also present on his brothers command, was sitting across them. Tarini's gaze shifts to him, and she moves towards him.
"What are doing, bhabhi? I am not going to eat on everyone's behalf." He looks at her, puzzled, seeing her fill his plate full.
"You need to recover soon. No complaints, just start eating." Tarini replies, her tone clearly declaring don't argue with me.
"I don't support this partiality." Aayansh murmurs, glaring at the food.
"Bhabhi is right." Abhyudit intervenes out of nowhere from the other side, siding Tarini, making her smile heartily at his understanding.
"Very cute," Aayansh shoots him a look and turns to Tarini, complaining, "par mere andar koi food storage card nahi hai jahan mai itna khana store karunga."
(I don't have any storage card inside me where I will store all this food.)
"Listen to your bhabhi, beta." Dadi interrupts, and he sighs in defeat, hearing her strict tone. Tarini pats his shoulder, pointing at the plate when he looks up sulking.
The entire place falls silent as Sidharth walks in, his presence dominating the place. He takes his seat next to his mother, who was sitting on the head chair.
Tarini slides into the chair beside Aviraj, serving in both of their's plates, repeating the usual act which had become a habit for her.
Aayansh doesn't move his head up from the plate, hoping for his father to not start the day with his favourite topic, turning his morning mood sour.
"I have an important announcement to share with you all, especially Abhyudit." Sidharth says, clearing his throat, and everyone including Aayansh's attention shifts to him.
"As you know, our company is working with Mehrotra Group for an upcoming project. Last week, Mr. Mehrotra had proposed a marriage alliance for his daughter to Abhyudit." He announces, observing the mixed reactions on everyone's face.
All the eyes turn to Abhyudit, whose expression remains neutral, revealing nothing.
"I told him it will your decision, so you can take your time to think and decide what you want." Sidharth continues, assuring he had his own will and time.
"Your father is right, Abhyudit, make your decision wisely. I want to see the face of my second granddaughter-in-law soon." Dadi says, her voice filled with anticipation, giving away her happiness.
Abhyudit looks at Aviraj, who glance at him at the same time, his lips curled into a knowing smirk. He returns his focus back on the food, while Aayansh's gaze darts between his brothers, catching the brief interaction. He senses something brewing, but fails to point what.
