Shirina glances at Abhyudit, who was driving the car, focused on the road. They were returning from a business meeting and the car was filled with the usual silence.

Her attention drifts out the window, while her mind wanders to the shift in their dynamics. How had she begun to find comfort in his company? The same person whose presence made her feel nervous and intimidated until a few weeks ago? The question lingers, yet she had no answer to it.

The car suddenly jerks to a stop, and her body lurches forward due to its impact. Abhyudit's hand shoots out in swift reflex, bracing against the dashboard in front of her, saving her from an injury.

"Are you alright?" he asks, concern etched on his face.

"Hmm? I'm... okay. What happened to the car suddenly?" She recovers from the shock and her gaze meet his face. She looks at him, worried, her heart racing from the abrupt stop.

"I don't know. Maybe some fault occurred in the engine. I will check." Abhyudit removes his seatbelt, and opens the door on his side to get out.

Meanwhile, Shirina looks around, noticing the deserted surroundings with no sign of civilization. She steps out, approaching him as he examines the car's front end.

"This isn't a quick fix, we need help," he says, scrutinizing the damage.

She suggests, "We can drive a bit and see if we can find a mechanic." He nods, and they return to the car.

After a fifteen-minute slow drive, they spot a small repair shop off the main road. Abhyudit tells her to wait in the car while he goes out to talk to the mechanic, explaining the issue.

Shirina observes his actions from a distance, as he does something with his phone. Coming up to her, he opens her door and signals her to come out.

"What did he say?" she asks.

"It will take him some time to fix the issue, maybe a few hours," he informs, a hint of frustration in his tone. "There is no signal here, so we will have to wait."

"Is there some place nearby where we can wait?" Shirina asks the mechanic, or the owner of the garage, about whom she was not sure.

"There's a small cafe at ten minutes' walking distance from here. You can go there if you want." The man shares, and goes to check the car.

Not left with any other choice, Abhyudit and Shirina agree to head to the place he referred. They walk for some distance, when Shirina notices the big colorful swings and lively music drifting from a nearby field.

"What's that?" she asks curiously, and Abhyudit follows her gaze, replying, "Probably, a local fair."

"Let's go there," she chimes the next instant, making him look at her with apprehension.

"I thought it would be easy to spend our time there. Rest it is your wish," she quickly adds, covering up her initial enthusiasm.

"Not a bad idea, though. We can stop here for a while." Abhyudit's tone was appreciative, and she beams in response, which doesn't go unnoticed by him.
