Shirina enters the cabin followed by Aayansh and observes Abhyudit, who was standing across them, awaiting their arrival.

"Care to explain what was going on outside?" He asks, raising his brow, looking at them standing beside each other.

"Didn't your fiancée already tell you?" Aayansh quips, stuffing his hand in his jacket's pockets and Shirina's eyes widen at his casual tone.

She wonders if he was really stupid or he was unaware of the wrath of Abhyudit Sisodia. She nudges him to shut up, silently conveying to not do anything nonsense.

"It was just a misunderstanding, Sir. Nothing more than that." Shirina replies, calling Abhyudit's attention on her. Her authentic tone momentarily makes her fall for her own lie, so she was sure he would also believe that.

"You should know, I don't like nuisance for any reason in my workplace." Abhyudit utters, his intent gaze remains fixed on her, which doesn't go unnoticed by another pair of curious eyes.

"And you," Abhyudit turns to Aayansh, "what were you doing in all this?"

"He was not at fault, Sir. He was just passing by." Shirina jumps to Aayansh's defense, even before he could open his mouth to answer.

"Is she right? So, you paused to watch the argument for time pass, rather than trying to end that?" Abhyudit asks Aayansh, his tone authoritative and demanding.

Aayansh tries to speak but Shirina again beats him to reply, "Time pass? He doesn't do that at all, sir. He is a very hardworking employee. In fact, the most hardworking."

She was determined to repay all his kindness today. She was sure she could do that much for him.

Abhyudit raises an eyebrow at his brother, who was being a spectator. He was listening to his lawyer's defense with a proud face, himself ignoring the fact that it was all false. His gaze shifts from Aayansh to Shirina, challenging her confidence.

"Are you sure? Have you seen him working hard? Because I haven't seen him working around in this office." He states seriously, his tone calm and deep.

"Then, you are wro...I mean, mistaken. You don't know all the things about all your employees. I have seen him, he is very talented also." She concludes with surety, and Abhyudit takes a step towards her, locking his eyes onto her's.

"I believe you. In fact, your words have made me doubt that you know my brother more than me." Abhyudit replies with conviction, playing along. Shirina lets out an inaudible sigh grasping his first sentence.

"Of course, you should...wait, from where did you brother come into this?" She counters immediately when her mind registers his words, and meets only silence in response.

"Brother?" Her eyes widen for a moment, looking between them, bewildered. The image of Abhyudit's concern for Aayansh when he was sick flashes in her head.
