"Yes, we will fight. Action time!" She declares confidently, getting behind him and pushing him forward, making his head snap in her direction in shock.

"I doubt if you were ever my well-wisher." Aayansh helplessly looks at the fat-headed girl, who was pushing him like a bali ka bakra (scapegoat).

"No one can save you both from us." One of those men says with a smrik plastered on his face, while standing at few steps from them.

"You save yourself first." Jivika challenges in the same tone, peeking from his back.

"You also say something." She nudges Aayansh, bringing him out of shock and he realizes the situation getting out of hands, seeing them stepping forward.

Racking his brain, he bents down and takes sand in his hands. In an instant, he stands and throws it in the air. It makes difficult for them to step ahead, with sand getting in their eyes and blurring their vision.

"Bhaag bewakoof aurat." Tugging her wrist, he shouts at Jivika, who was still looking at him stupefied and runs with her towards his car.

(Run stupid woman.)

"Aurat kisko bola? Aur wo bhi bewakoof." She spats in irritation, managing to match his speed.

(Whom did you called stupid woman?)

"Tumhe," he says, as they reach the car and he goes to the driving seat. "Hurry up, sit in the car."

(To you.)

"This makes us cowards." Jivika reasons, standing next to the door of passenger seat.

"That's fine over getting handicapped."

"Point." She takes her seat beside him and he starts the car. Those men hastily make their way towards them, when their view turn clear.

Taking a u-turn after moving the car on reverse gear, Aayansh drives fast, making it impossible for them to follow and catch them.

They both get relieved and murmur, 'Thank god' at the same time, getting out of their sight and the car pulls on highway.

Aayansh glances at her, saying, "Actually, you should be thanking me."

"Thank you, Aayansh." She utters without any argument, her tone makes it difficult for him to know if she was being genuine or sarcastic. Going with the first option, he hums in response.

"How do you land in troubles? And you tag me also along somehow." He questions, his tone evidencing a fake curiosity.

"The way you land to save me." She replies, unconsciously keeping her hand above his on the gearshift.

"Hey, I am not your bodyguard. However, you make a feel like one." Jivika emits a mirthless laugh on hearing him.

It was true that whenever she was in any problem or trouble and had none by her side, he reached there and handled things for her. She never understood how he got that instinct but he would be there for her.
