"WHERE KNUCKS AT, bones?" Kamal peaked his head in legacy's room where legacy was scrolling through his phone, sitting at the edge of the bed.
Legacy looked up pursing his lips.
A month had came and passed since their prom where legacy asked her to be his girlfriend, and so now they were official. Nothing much really changed, but that was to be expected since they were already affectionate with eachother anyway.
They had graduated two weeks ago, and kamal and Kaycee were the only ones who showed up to their ceremony, which was concerning. Legacy was happy he didn't have to deal with his mother, but that was also suspicious.
He hadn't even showed up home when they got to Georgia, and Isabella hadn't contacted him in anyway. It was strange, but he was liking it while it lasted.
"She went out with her friends, but she on the way back." Legacy responded softly, looking down at the messages displaying on his phone.
Whenever Knucks wasn't there, he chilled in his own room instead of hers. For the past two weeks, they had been doing everything to get both of them situated until they figured what was next for them.
Kamal was more than ecstatic to have his daughter back in the house with him, and even legacy. He had been keeping the both of them close—but that scared Knucks a little. He was moving in silence when it came to marcus and her mother. She wanted to know his next move, but kamal was too strategic to let his daughter in on it.
They had decorated his room to his liking, and even though it wasn't much because he didn't know how he wanted it, it made him feel just at home. Knucks was doing everything in her power to make him feel comfortable, and it was working.
"Oh damn, ask her if she want pizza since she ain't here to cook." Kamal leaned on the door frame of legacy's room.
Legacy looked up at kamal, and in the same breath Kataleya twisted her key entering the house. From where jamal was standing, once he looked to the side he had a perfect view of the girl.
