LEGACY WATCHED AS Kataleya opened the door to her sisters car, and slid out of it with ease. She had changed since she last saw him three hours ago, but knowing they had a busy day ahead he wasn't surprised.

"Hey mama," He greeted softly, walking towards the driver side because he knew she wanted him to drive. She only mugged him in return though, still looking pretty as ever in his eyes.

Her mug was so pretty, he was sure she hated it wasn't as intimidating because everybody knew what she was capable of, but her soft facial features always threw people off.

"So what bitch face you was in today?" She spat causing him to halt in his tracks, confused.

"I'm at work, how would I be in somebody face. And where you even get that from." He continued his path towards her, but she didn't back down nor did her face falter.

When he pulled her into a hug, she did nothing to react. She didn't try to hug or kiss him back. "Mama, really?" He questioned, since she was being stubborn, and he hadn't done anything wrong.

She cut her eyes towards him, and they locked with his. "Legacy let me tell you something." She started, pulling out of his hold. "Me and you," she pointed between them, "Are locked in. Our souls are tied to eachother in the tightest knot you can think of, so I feel it in my soul that you was in somebody face today, and I wanna know who."

She was dead serious. Call it intuition, or maybe even jealousy, but she felt it deep down in the pit of her soul that not only was he in the presence of another girl but he was being friendly with said person.

It would've been fine with her if that was what he was like when she met him, but when she met him he was damn near scared of females so it needed to stay that way now that she was with him. Maybe it was her irrational side thinking, or maybe she was on to something.

"I mean I did talk to one girl." He expressed truthfully. He didn't find any reason to have to lie to her about their interactions. He wanted her to trust him, which he was sure she did, but she was also selfish and wanted him all to herself.

He never blamed her for that, because that was how he felt about her. At one point of time he felt like he was in competition with his own cousin, who infact knew her first.

"Who."

As the words got ready to spill from his lips, he grew distracted. Standing there in a light pink jogging suit, her face was free from lashes, and even looked shiny like she applied vaseline. Her lips were glossy as always, and her traditional sew in was pulled into a low bun at the nape of her neck.

"Hello. Earth to legacy." Her voice was so soft he couldn't take her seriously. She was trying to be mad but she just sounded cute in his opinion.

"My job had me train this new girl." He admitted. She side eyed him because he was way too new to be training the next person, but she believed whole heartedly that he wouldn't lie to her.
