LEGACY FLUTTERED HIS eyes open, before closing them right back afterwards. The only thing he hated about sleeping in Leyas room was that her curtains allowed the sun to seep through them.
For the last few weeks he had been feeling like he was in the twilight zone. He didn't know if he was coming or going, it was confusing.
He had just been living through the motions. Work, hanging with Leya, working out and working on boxing, and repeat.
He had been avoiding his family who had been trying to reach out to him since the second he left the house. He hadn't even talked to Taylor, leaving all that to Knucks.
He wasn't mad at Taylor, but he was embarrassed that Taylor now knew his mother liked him, and had been touching him since a kid. He didn't know how to recover from that.
He looked to the side of him, noticing that the girl wasn't there. He reached for his phone picking up to check the time, before he realized it was 11 in the morning and he would be late for work.
"Damn," He muttered trying his best to sit up quickly. He was struggling though because he still was trying to wake all the way up.
As he tried to move out the bed, Leya flung her door open, and he looked up. It look like she had been somewhere since she was dressed, but he couldn't focus on that because the smile on her face made his heart palpitate.
"Baeeee guess what day it issss!" She was sad to see he was already up because she planned on putting a pillow over his face until he woke up. He sucked the fun out of everything.
"What, hump day?" He questioned, rubbing his irritated eye. Watching her deflate with a teeth smack, she rolled her eyes.
He looked down for a split second, and the next thing he knew Leya was jumping on top of him, smuggling him with plenty of soft kisses. "It's your birthday. You nineteen, omg you know what that mean?" She lifted her head.
"It's yo nasty nineteenth, you trynna get freaky?" That was the question that finally placed a big smile on his face.
"Right now?" He questioned raising his eyebrows, and she bit her lip nodding. She had sent her father and sister out to go pick up the things she ordered for him so that they could get a little time in before the day started.
He bit the inside of his lip. He wasn't really in the mood for anything concerning his birthday, especially because he had been in such a funk for the last three weeks. He wanted to talk to his dad, grandma, and brother.
He wanted to know what they had to say. He didn't mean to snap on his grandma, because he was sure she had no ill intentions. Then his father and brother, they had been making really good process on individual relationship building.
